‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 8: Ashley Fights with Gloria – Hilary Furious At Devon – Cane Vows to Fight Victoria

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, February 8, tease that Gloria (Judith Chapman) will cause quite a stir at Jabot. In Jack’s (Peter Bergman) office, Gloria turns Ravi (Abhi Sinha) away. When Ashley (Eileen Davidson) gets updates on Jack’s new receptionist, she flips out. Ashley asks Jack if he’s high and wants Gloria out of there.

Jack insists that Gloria is staying, so Ashley storms off. She finds Ravi and fills him in on Gloria’s nasty history. Ashley tells Ravi to stay away from her. At Crimson Lights, Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) talks to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about the upcoming GC Buzz interview. She hopes she can keep Jack from hogging the limelight.

At the athletic club, Lily (Christel Khalil) warns Devon (Bryton James) that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) could come after him for more money. She thinks he needs to take care of this before things get ugly. Devon promises that he already has. Lily tries to figure out if a divorce is really what Devon wants. Devon ponders Hilary’s recent actions after Lily exits.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers state that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will surprise Billy (Jason Thompson) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) with some huge news. At the office, Victoria announces that she wants to buy Brash and Sassy on her own. Billy is OK with it, but Cane is furious. He suggests that Billy would agree with anything to get Victoria back in his bed.

Billy argues that it’ll be easier for Victoria to take the lead, but Cane won’t allow it. Lily comes in and gets up to speed. Victoria encourages Lily to help Cane get used to the idea. Later, Cane vows to make a solid pitch to Jill (Jess Walton). He learns that he doesn’t have enough money to make the purchase, but assures Lily that he’s not giving up.

Back at Brash and Sassy, Victoria asks if Cane was right about Billy trying to get back in her bed. Billy hints that he might be. He mentions their history together and all the nice moments they’ve shared. Meanwhile, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) urges Hilary to sign a paper that says she won’t take Devon to court at any point in the future. Once Devon shows up, Hilary lashes out at him again.

Hilary is appalled that Devon thinks she’s plotting something, but he notes that it’s happened before. At Jabot, Lauren cracks up over Jack being forced to hire Gloria. Jack won’t give any details and insists they should get to GC Buzz. After Lauren heads off with Jack, Phyllis sticks around to chat with Ashley.

Ashley still isn’t over the whole cheating scandal, but Phyllis hopes they can put the past behind them. She tells Ashley that Jack isn’t part of the road she’s headed down. Across town, Lauren annoys Jack when she won’t let him get a word in during their interview.

Gloria watches the show at Jabot and laughs at Jack’s inability to speak up. Ashley struts in and declares that she’ll be doing her part to protect her father’s legacy. She tells Gloria that she doesn’t like her and mentions that she shouldn’t get too comfortable.

It sounds like more showdowns are coming up for Gloria and Ashley. Y&R rumors hint that Gloria’s role at the company could lead to some shocking situations. Stay tuned to see what’s in store.
