“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, May 3, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will try to explain the situation to Victoria (Amelia Heinle). She just caught him kissing Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) in the elevator, so Billy needs to clear a few things up. At Brash and Sassy, Billy offers an apology and suggests that he couldn’t keep going in circles. Besides, Victoria shut him out.

Victoria feels like Billy’s actions were hurtful. Phyllis defends her connection with Billy and points out that Victoria hurt him as well. Victoria wonders if Phyllis is really the woman that Billy wants to be with. When he doesn’t respond immediately, Phyllis exits so they can hash this out alone.

Billy notes that he tried to come clean. He just hated to make Victoria’s life any tougher right now. Billy mentions Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) MS flare-ups, but Victoria shifts gears. She takes a jab at how quickly Billy got back together with Phyllis. Billy reminds Victoria that she pushed him away.
Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) is pleased that Billy won’t have as much power. Lily (Christel Khalil) hears what went down and seems surprised that Cane is trying to use this to his advantage. Later, Cane offers to step up for Victoria if she needs help with anything.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor (Eric Braeden) praises Abby (Melissa Ordway) for the way she handled everything while he was gone. Talk turns to Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) company. Victor thinks purchasing it might be a good idea. They discuss all the Dina drama within the Abbott clan.
On their flight, Devon (Bryton James) and Neil (Kristoff St John) prepare for their meeting with Dina. Neil senses that Devon is too confident, so he warns him not to get his hopes up. Nothing is a done deal yet. At Jabot, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) learns Dina’s company is for sale. She assures Jack (Peter Bergman) that she doesn’t care. Ashley just wants Dina to steer clear of the family.
Gloria (Judith Chapman) and Jack chat about Bella (Gia Poeme) a little later. Jack finds out that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) is Bella’s biological father. Gloria is concerned since Kevin will have to raise his daughter alone. She hints that Bella might have abandonment issues thanks to Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) actions. That leads Jack to talk about how his own mother abandoned her kids.
Elsewhere, Phyllis fills Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) in on the elevator incident. She worries about being Billy’s second choice, but Lauren offers reassurance. She feels like Phyllis should fight for what she wants. However, Lauren hints that Phyllis shouldn’t lower her standards for it.
Billy meets back up with Phyllis and insists they can be together now. He states that there’s nothing to feel guilty about. They share a hug as they start their future. At the athletic club, Ashley recalls a heated encounter with Dina about her real father. She snaps out of the flashback as Victor appears. Vic brings up Dina, but Ashley isn’t interested in another conversation about her.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Dina will listen to Devon and Neil’s pitch. After the plane lands, Dina waltzes in and hears them out. She seems hesitant to get involved with a company that’s so new, but Devon mentions he’s the grandson of Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). Dina suddenly seems intrigued.
