The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Vickie’s Head Trauma Issues Persist – Dance with Ben Revealing

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) clearly is demonstrating lingering health issues on ‘The Young and the Restless’. They’ve seemingly resulted from the blow to head she suffered at the Top of the Tower party that was held after Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) charity concert. While initial tests didn’t confirm anything serious, certain types of head trauma can lead to hearing problems. And that’s what Vickie is experiencing.

The gathered crowd at The Underground noticed that Vickie was dancing with Ben (Ben Hermes). That wouldn’t have been noteworthy in the nightclub setting, but it was strange to see Heinle’s character strike that pose.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) talked with her mother about her sister’s recent mood swings. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) tried to warn Vickie about Ben. But Vickie brushed her off as being too uptight to appreciate what Mr. Hochman had to offer.

Vickie is generally reserved as a result of her backstory and personality type. While her public display was hardly outrageous, it also continued a pattern of sporadic behavior.

This storyline is subtle. As viewers recall, Vickie fell backwards after Abby threw a drink in her face. After getting up, Vickie appeared dazed and left.

A bit of time passed until Vickie went to the doctor. While she might have been misdiagnosed, let’s take the doctor at his word. So why is Vickie still experiencing symptoms at this point in time then?

It appears as though Y&R is presenting another consciousness raising storyline. Undiagnosed traumatic brain injuries can obviously create serious consequences. But so can undetected diseases, or tumors.

Considering Jack’s (Peter Bergman) recent deal with Ben, Vickie will likely remain off her game. That could leave Brash and Sassy open to having its secrets pilfered and given to Jabot.

Speculation will persist until Vickie seeks further medial advice, or experiences some type of serious consequence as a result of whatever her condition actually is. Various viewers can likely relate, or are connected to loved ones who have or are experiencing unsettling health scares.
