The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday June 8: Cane Tries to Lie His Way Out of Trouble – Jack Rattles Dina – Lily and Hilary Spar

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, June 8, tease that Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will discuss Juliet’s (Laur Allen) lawsuit. At the athletic club, Jordan suggests that someone claiming to be in Juliet’s corner gave her bad advice. Hilary argues that the truth is going to come out anyway.

Across town, Lily (Christel Khalil) wonders if something like Juliet suggested actually went down in Tokyo. Cane (Daniel Goddard) maintains that they celebrated their deal with drinks, but that was it. Later, Lily and Hilary debate the drama. Hilary insists that this is going to be a huge national story.

After Hilary leaves to take a phone call, Lily mulls everything over with Jordan. He’s worried about what might happen if Juliet wins this case. At Brash and Sassy, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) vows to fight. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) learns that Victoria won’t be settling, so he leaves to discuss the matter with Cane.

When Michael grills him, Cane once again contends that he’s innocent. He claims that Juliet dropped him off at his room and left. Michael asks if Cane will swear to that in court. Elsewhere, Jack (Peter Bergman) agrees with Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) suspicions. He promises to figure out what’s up with Dina (Marla Adams) and her right-hand man, Graham (Max Shippee).

In a suite, Graham brings Dina a bouquet of flowers and notes that he’s sorry for being so pushy. Dina heads downstairs and sees Abby (Melissa Ordway) wrapping up a meeting with Zack (Ryan Ashton). Once Abby is alone, she tells Dina who Zack is. Dina urges her interested granddaughter to see where this might lead romantically.

Abby also has a tiff with Victoria in Thursday’s Young and the Restless episode. Fortunately, they quickly manage to calm down. Victoria points out that Abby needs to be ready for curveballs at work. Since she’s been dealing with a few of her own, Victoria knows exactly how much trouble they can cause.

Jack and Ashley find out Dina is planning on returning to Paris. When Jack asks his mom to stay at his place without Graham, she gets flustered and objects. After telling her kids goodbye, Dina scampers off with her companion. Jack tells Ashley that he’s going to get to the bottom of all this.

At The Underground, Noah (Robert Adamson) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) encourage Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) to accept Devon’s (Bryton James) offer. They don’t understand why Tessa seems so hesitant. Nearby, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) lets Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) know that she enjoyed his performance. He flirts and tries to get Mattie’s phone number, but she ends up making a break for it.

Mattie is obviously a bit shy, but she should come around on the idea of dating Reed eventually. Will Reed’s wild streak rub off on Mattie? How will her parents feel about their blooming love?
