‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Michael Sees Gloria and Jack Together – Explanation Demanded at Jabot

No, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) didn’t see anything revealing on ‘The Young and the Restless’. However, Jack (Peter Bergman) needed to offer an explanation as to why Gloria (Judith Chapman) was massaging his neck while he sat at the CEO’s desk inside the Jabot building. Both characters are single, but this is Michael’s mother and Jack supposedly can’t stand Gloria. How is this possible?

Gloria’s bizarre appearance in front of Jabot Cosmetic’s CEO’s office recently confounded all of Genoa City. Michael knew from the jump that his mom was likely holding some type of blackmail over Jack Abbott’s head. That’s why he never considered romance as part of the equation and possibly, Jack hasn’t either. But savvy viewers have caught on.

This scribe believes that it’s possible, though not certain, that Gloria could be wearing Jack down, lowering his defenses or both. John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) son has despised his two-time ex-mother-in-law for years. However, he’s single and vulnerable. So, as impossible as it might be to believe, an actual relationship could develop between this seemingly unlikely pair. Where that leads could be known by spring.

Sure, Gloria may not have plotted this scheme from the beginning. But what if creative dexterity occurred? She realized that Jack was open to her charms and now knows that the improbable could actually happen. Mrs. Abbott once more? Only Y&R’s writers know for sure.

In what would become one of the most unexpected storylines this decade, Y&R might actually go there. Just imagine the GC buzz if ‘Glack’ actually forms!
