The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kevin Prepares For Third Marriage – Chloe Remains Unstable

Michael (Christian Le Blanc) is looking out for his brother’s best interest on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) advised that he’s going to ask Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to marry him, for what would be Khloe’s third official go-round. That’s exactly why Michael raised the three-time bride’s mental health issues.

Oh, she’s putting up a good front. Kevin obviously believes she’s healthy and he’ll tell that to anyone who’ll listen. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has fully embraced her former and now revived best friend. As for Esther (Kate Linder), she’s happy to have her only child back in town.

Of course Kevin knows nothing about Chloe having stolen Billy’s (then played by Billy Miller, now played by Jason Thompson) DNA sample and apparently having herself artificially inseminated to produce Bella (Cali May Kinder). Chelsea is in the dark about Chloe at least shooting Adam (Justin Hartley) with a dart gun last September. Esther hasn’t been told anything about either crucial event in her daughter’s life either.

Kevin will naturally resist Michael’s red-flagged advice. Mr. Fisher is blind where Chloe is concerned and almost always has been. Kevin is so in love with her that he’s overcome those trips to California, where she was supposedly receiving mental health treatment. The care she needed isn’t the issue, but the fact that she coldly dumped Kevin in the process just wasn’t right.

Chelsea’s life was destroyed by Chloe’s actions at the cabin. It seems very possible that Chloe did more than shoot Adam more than six months ago. Exactly how did that woodsy structure explode and is it possible that she faked Adam’s death and has been holding him hostage ever since? That scenario can hardly be ruled out, as indefinite torture would match Chloe’s demented rage where the supposed accidental killer of Delia (Sophie Pollono) is concerned.

Esther is kooky, but she genuine loves Katherine. For those who don’t know, that’s the name she gave her daughter when she was born. It was in honor of Jeanne Cooper’s character Katherine Chancellor. But upon her adult return to Genoa City, Chloe announced she’d changed her name. Oh my.

Anyone who withholds such critical information from the man she’ll likely marry for a third time, her closest confidant and the woman who gave birth to her is deeply troubled. In real life, or on this soap opera, the type of information Chloe is carrying is certain to come out. In the real world that might take forever. In Genoa City, let’s give it a few months.
