The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Hilary Shames Again – Vickie Teetering on Physical and Financial Disaster

Savvy viewers wondered how Vickie (Amelia Heinle) didn’t see Hilary (Mishael Morgan) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But somehow she didn’t and Genoa City’s resident gossip artist captured more digital footage that again shames the Newman family.

Y&R fans also questioned why Ben (Ben Hermes) recklessly left Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) phone number on the desk in his suite where anyone, like say Victoria could see it? But he did and thus the bridge loan he hoped to offer to the owner of Brash and Sassy sank.

Vickie tore the revised contract Ben created in half after he verbally fumbled the questions she threw at him regarding his Cane connection. That was classic Newman style, as Vickie’s outrage was all-on. Ben was given no chance to explain himself. But if the situation were reversed it would have been standard Newman protocol to justify that attempted triangulation.

So Ben and Vickie spilled into the Genoa City Athletic Club hallway, which may be on the second floor, unless Miss Newman was heading to the unseen elevator. It just so happened that Hilary was there with a smartphone she’s seemingly had medically attached to her hand. Hilary’s coup will be big business for GC Buzz, which of course means personal and professional disaster for Vickie.

Of course the only reason why Vickie was even in Ben’s suite is because she’s not thinking clearly. Another health episode occurred just moments before she stormed out of Ben’s suite.

The sporadic fog Vickie has increasingly driven into, combined with her sporadic hearing box-outs indicate that she may be experiencing brain injury symptoms. Y&R fans recall that Vickie fell backwards and hit her head hard at the Top of the Tower on the night Abby (Melissa Ordway) threw a drink in her face.

Hilary’s latest attempt to humiliate someone (which some classify as shaming in order to seem current) will create consequences. Whether that results in additional stress forcing Vickie’s building health issue to climax will soon be known.
