‘The Young and the Restless’ RUMOR: Nick and Chelsea Romance Grows – Sharon Attempts To Steal Nick Away, New Love Triangle In The Works?

‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) romance will begin to become more apparent.  For many weeks now, their attraction and undeniable connection has been building up in every scene that the two of them share together.  As many will recall, Nick and Chelsea have been developing feelings for each other for a while now, especially after Nick and Chelsea shared their first kiss.

As the two of them agreed to remain only as friends, Nick has not been able to get Chelsea out of his mind as much as he tries.  This coming week, Nick finally says it’s time for the two of them to reach a new level of understanding regarding their relationship. Will Nick and Chelsea decide to give their relationship a chance together as a couple or decide to not go any further and simply remain just friends?

On another note, distress could already be forming for Nick and Chelsea. We know Nick’s brother, Dylan (Steve Burton) is planning to leave Genoa City and is supposed to be joining the witness protection program and is now out of Sharon’s (Sharon Case) life temporarily.

Recently, Sharon informed Dylan that she was wanting to still be with him and go with him to the witness protection program. However, the rumor mill is saying that Dylan and Sharon will soon be breaking up for good since Dylan is said to be leaving alone and Sharon will not be with him.

When this happens, perhaps, Sharon will be all by herself again, will she seek comfort from Nick and if she tries how do you presume Chelsea will respond to that?  It won’t be pretty! If this happens after Nick and Chelsea begin their new romance, viewers can totally see Sharon turning back into her cold and scheming habits and might possibly plot to get her ex back into her life now that Dylan is out of the picture.

Will she be able to separate Chelsea and Nick or is Nick as dedicated to Chelsea and into her the way he appears? There could be fireworks when Sharon makes her move on Dylan, we are bound to see Chelsea stand her ground and tell Sharon to back away.  Most definitely! These two will soon be rivals if Sharon decides to make a romantic move toward Nick just as Nick and Chelsea’s new romance is starting to take off.

Many viewers want to see Nick and Chelsea finally become a new couple as this has been speculated on-screen and by many social media sites for weeks now.  But his ex, Sharon, could plot to generate some angst for the new couple before they even get started. Perhaps, she will scheme to get with Nick not for romantic reasons but to be closer to Sully. We might soon see an all out catfight start up between Sharon and Chelsea. Stay tuned!
