The Young and the Restless RUMOR: Hilary a Hostile Defense Witness – Juliet’s Case Weakened

Juliet (Laur Allen) asked Hilary (Mishael Morgan) to testify on her behalf on ‘The Young and the Restless’. The owner of GC Buzz turned Miss Helton down flat. However, if Leslie (Angell Conwell) calls Hilary to the stand Juliet’s case will be weakened.

Here’s Juliet’s problem, she believes that Hilary having overheard the conversation she had with Cane (Daniel Goddard) strengthens her cause. But it doesn’t.

Hilary’s history with the Ashby family is bad. Nearly everything that’s played out between Cane, Lily (Christel Khalil) and Hilary is negative. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) can surely cast major, if not full doubt on Hilary’s intent if he has a chance to question this particular witness.

Beyond subjective points, Juliet will be sure to cite Hilary’s encouragement of the current lawsuit. Juliet has been revealed as naive to the ways of the world. She’s often swayed by the last opinion that’s offered to her as well. That personality point will be exposed in court.

Combine the probability that Juliet’s nature will be mixed with Hilary’s vindictive streak. Miss Curtis will be revealed as having channeled Juliet’s understandable pain at having been fired into a concocted claim. All legal bets will need to be recalculated as soon as that issue comes to light.

Of course the damage to Cane’s personal and professional reputation will be done regardless of whatever legal points are scored by either side. Lily will learn that her husband withheld information about a still-mysterious encounter in Japan. Vickie (Amelia Heinle) will initially be shaken by confirmation that Cane’s detailed history wasn’t honest.

So Hilary believes that the fight she manipulated into happening will provide her with good digital copy. But the host of the ‘Hilary Hour’ might prove to be revealed as a villain as well.

The reputations of Cane, Juliet and Hilary all seem likely to be hit. Losers are likely to abound as the projected outcome of the coming high-profile legal battle in Genoa City.
