Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) plan was working very nicely on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Then Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) stuck her pretty nose into the frame.
All who long to see Sheila have another chance with Eric (John McCook) know that Brooke’s pushy insertion into other people’s business just isn’t right. Oh yes, chapter and verse can be cited about how Sheila may have adjusted a paternity result, may have prevented people from leaving certain locations, which could be harshly termed hostage holding, and may have been involved in the permanent disappearance of certain departed characters. But that was then and then and then.

But what about when Brooke took control of Eric’s company years ago? And she plenty of other things that weren’t so nice as well. Why a good lawyer could make her look far worse then Sheila if given enough time (and money).
So much of life is perception. For example, James (Ian Buchanan) was once intertwined with Brooke and Sheila. Based on the basement exercise regimen that Sheila prescribed for him in the distant past one might see his view of her as excessively slanted.
James chooses to believe that Sheila is threatening to expose his misuse of prescription drugs if he doesn’t go along with her plan to remain in Eric’s house. Possibly, Miss Carter was just trying to strongly persuade the man who once loved her to gain a different perspective?
Eric’s infatuation with Quinn (Rena Sofer) is to be expected, as she’s very enchanting. But a solid case can be made that Sheila is the better option for the Forrester icon at this stage of his life. Obviously, Eric’s existence would be far more exciting if Sheila’s portrait was hung above the mantle.

Considering that Sheila served her time in prison. All who she wronged in the past can claim no legitimate beef, but rather are holding irrational grudges. That’s on them.
Take a leap of faith Eric. You only have One Life to Live. (Brown previously appeared on that beloved ABC soap as Dr. Paige Miller.) Push Quinn out and allow Sheila another shot. Although shot might have been an inappropriate word choice based on past pieces of evidence.
Okay then. Give in Eric and no one will get hurt, for awhile.
