Steve Burton Headed Back To General Hospital? GH Fans Hopeful!

“General Hospital” spoilers tease that a huge bombshell just dropped and the aftermath is going to be epic. Daytime Confidential’s Jamey Giddens recently revealed a juicy tidbit on his podcast. He suggested that a soapy shocker was about to stir up big trouble. Later, TV Guide Magazine’s Michael Logan chimed in. He explained that this brewing storm was about Steve Burton.

Since Giddens also hinted that this would spark major fanbase wars, we can assume that Steve Burton is headed back to “General Hospital.” A return to “The Young and the Restless” wouldn’t really create any controversy. However, Burton’s return to GH will certainly have fans in a tizzy.

For some viewers, Burton’s version of Jason Morgan was the only choice. Others prefer Billy Miller’s portrayal of this beloved character. There are even some “General Hospital” watchers who adore them both equally. Will one of these actors play a phony Jason? This could lead to total chaos in Port Charles!

“JaSam” is an incredibly popular pairing on the ABC soap. Which version of Jason should Sam (Kelly Monaco) end up with? There are undoubtedly plenty of people on both sides of this debate. Fortunately, Kelly Monaco has chemistry with both guys. She’s a great actress who can make this work no matter how things play out.

Of course, the news of Burton’s return has led to some questions about Miller’s status with the show. Is his future with “General Hospital” in jeopardy? Some Y&R fans are missing Miller as Billy Abbott over on “The Young and the Restless.” Jason Thompson is currently in the role, but will he stick around?

You just never know what could happen down the road. If Thompson gets fired or departs at Y&R, he could land back at GH just like Burton. “General Hospital” viewers have certainly missed Dr. Patrick Drake. Burton’s decision to make a comeback could bring even more shakeups in the soap world!
