Soap Opera Ratings Week of July 24 to 28: Days or Our Lives Hits Another Ratings Low

Soap Opera ratings for the week of July 24-28 indicate that some of our favorite shows are going strong while others can’t get out of their ratings slump.

According to Soap Opera Network, CBS soap Days of Our Lives has hit another ratings low compared to the other three major daytime television dramas. The series only brought in a total of 1.9 million viewers for the week.

In comparison, The Young and the Restless remained strong with 4.3 million viewers, following by The Bold and the Beautiful with 3.3 million viewers. General Hospital, meanwhile, brought in 2.4 million viewers for the week.

For Days of Our Lives though, the news continues to get worse though. More fans are tuning out than in as women between the ages of 18-49 are seemingly less interested in the show’s ongoing drama, or lack thereof. This week the series only pulled in 282,000 viewers in that bracket. That’s another new low as the week of July 17-21 the show only had 290,000 viewers.

Days or Our Lives isn’t the only soap series with bad news. Even though The Young and the Restless still tops the ratings, the series has also seen a new low for woman viewers between 18-34. The show has only managed to pull in 109,000 viewers, which is a second week low for them.

Meanwhile, The Bold and the Beautiful seems to be holding strong in all categories including day-to-day ratings. The CBS drama is holding steady at an average of 3.3 million viewers daily.
