The Young and the Restless spoilers and news tease that Seinfeld alum Wayne Knight has joined the CBS soap opera cast. According to a report from Soap Opera Digest, Wayne Knight will play the part of Irv West and will be appearing in a handful of episodes beginning on September 21. Spoilers indicate that Knight’s character will cross paths with the younger Genoa City crowd: Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Noah (Robert Adamson),and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). He also will share some scenes with Devon (Bryton James), Sharon (Sharon Case) and Daniel (Scott Grainger).
