Is Jessie Wallace Returning To EastEnders As Kat Moon?

Is Kat Moon returning to Eastenders? According to actress Jessie Wallace, even she doesn’t know the answer herself! In fact, Jessie doesn’t even know if her character is dead or alive.

During an interview with Good Morning Britain, Jessie was pressed about Kat’s whereabouts and whether or not fans will see her again on the small screen. While at first she didn’t want to answer any of the questions, she did say she didn’t know before adding, “never say never.” But she did hint that she would like to move on from the series that helped make her the household name she is today.

Jessie said, “I don’t miss being on EastEnders… not really. As an actor you like to move on and do other stuff. I don’t really miss it at all.”

Earlier this month Jessie admitted that she had no idea what happened to Kat after her devastating accident during the closing moments of Eastender’s spin-off show, Redwater. In fact, no one knows if Kat is dead or alive, which means her return to Eastenders would come as a big surprise. Either way, it’s without a doubt that fans would love to see Kat Moon again, especially since she is Eastenders’ most iconic characters.
