Harry Styles Snubbed For Role in Eastenders

One of the biggest names in the music industry almost appeared in one of the biggest British television soap dramas. But unfortunately, it didn’t happen. New reports say that former One Direction star Harry Styles was snubbed for a cameo role in the highly-rated soap series, Eastenders.

In fact, it was Eastenders actress Tilly Keeper who revealed that she really wanted to get Harry on the show. But it was the series’ producers that stopped it from happening.

She told Britain’s Daily Star, “I tried to sneak in the idea of having Harry in – but it wasn’t allowed. It was so disappointing.”

Of course, many fans do remember that Harry appeared in Eastenders in the past. He had a part in a Children in Need skit four years ago. What’s more, One Direction also performed in the Albert Square set.

Tell us, are you as shocked as we are over Harry Styles’ snub? Considering that he’s now dipping his feet in the acting pool, Eastenders would have been a great, classic show to put on his resume. With that being said, it doesn’t look like Harry is shedding any tears over the snub. He is getting rave reviews for his role in the big screen historical drama, Dunkirk, which is out in theaters now.
