General Hospital Spoilers: Will Jax Ever Return To Port Charles Again After Being Deported?

General Hospital (GH) recently had to say goodbye to fan favorite, Jerry “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) but for how long?

Jax had a rather explosive visit to Port Charles last go round. He came to town to break the news to his daughter, Josslyn (Eden McCoy), that her grandmother had passed away.

He followed that up by coming clean and admitting to Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) that he was really the one who paid Frank Benson for a kidney, but had no idea that it would come from his daughter.

After Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) found out that his long time nemesis Jax was the one behind buying Nelle’s kidney and ultimately sending Nelle down a path that resulted in destroying his marriage, he had his son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), arrest Jax.

Bad move, because after the charges were dropped against Jax, he didn’t really have a problem sleeping with his ex-wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), despite the tiny detail of her still being married to Sonny. Which brings us to the end of Jax’s fun-filled visit with a deportation agent informing him that he is no longer welcome in the United States, courtesy of Sonny.

Jax has plenty of money, adores spending time with Josslyn and still clearly cares very much about Carly. So much so that he asked her and Joss to move to Australia with him which she declined. So with his two favorite girls still currently residing in Port Charles, how long will Jax really have to stay away? Surely not forever!

Ingo Rademacher recently left his glamorous Hawaiian home to return back to Los Angeles which could mean good news. But he revealed in a recent interview that he has been busy with other projects and that a contract with GH isn’t on the current horizon. He does also reveal that he is open to reprising his role as Jax some point later on down the road, so all hope isn’t lost!

Most likely we will one day see the Aussie grace our screens again but it looks like for the foreseeable future Joslynn will have to resume taking trips to Australia to visit Jax.
