General Hospital Spoilers: Nicolas Bechtel Exits GH – Announces Return Next Summer

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Nicolas Bechtel, who portrays the delightful young Cassadine, Spencer, has finished taping his scenes and has left the building… for now! Bechtel has announced on his social media that he is done taping and will be back next summer. How do you feel about fan favorite Bechtel being off screen for a while?

GH’s Nicolas Bechtel also took the time to thank Frank Valentini for helping him be the best that he can be, but we’re sure fans feel he has been spectacular and incredibly entertaining for a young man of only 12 years, who has portrayed Spencer Cassadine off and on since 2013.

Recently on General Hospital, Spencer learned he no longer had an inheritance and he was not going to take that sitting down. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was awarded everything after both his legitimate brothers, Stefan (Stephen Nichols) and Stavros (Robert Kelker-Kelly) have died. Viewers of the ABC soap opera know Spencer is very resourceful and will do anything to keep his posh life and father’s memory alive.

GH’s Spencer has decided to hire Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), his father’s aunt, to help him sue Valentin for murdering his father, Nikolas. Will the young Cassadine prince be the one to finally take down Valentin before his newfound cousin, Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) inherits what he feel is rightfully his?

Now that it has been confirmed Bechtel is done taping we have to wonder how things will all play out, will his character accomplish everything he has planned for Valentin, including asking his Uncle Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to help him or will he end up returning to his boarding school broken-hearted. Either way, keep watching to see what the mischievous heir plans to do next before he vanishes until the summer of 2018.
