General Hospital Spoilers: Nelle’s Change Of Heart Comes Too Late – Lives Destroyed Over Her Secrets

General Hospital (GH) has had fans on the edge of their seats when it comes to Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) and her revenge plot against both Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his wife, Carly (Laura Wright).  Sources have implied we would learn why she was doing this all in the first place, but now it appears viewers were misled.

When Carly asked Nelle to go up to the cabin and make things beautiful and romantic for her getaway with her husband; her son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) decided to go with her, since he knew the way.  Michael and Nell end up stranded at the cabin, making her question whether she would go through with revenge, or not.

GH viewers have noticed that since her misguided attempt to ruin Sonny, by pretending to sleep with him and then have him confess on tape; she has softened.  She may have hated Carly when she arrived in Port Charles, but Carly accepted her and took her in immediately as part of her family.

Sources suggest Nelle may have never had the true structure of family, and Carly is offering it to her; a solid family filled with love.  Sonny and Carly are undeniably meant for each other, and now her and Michael seem to be finding their way to being together, and exploring how they truly feel.

General Hospital spoilers reveal, Nelle chooses to destroy the recording she had on Sonny; she has fallen for his son and wants to move forward from the painful past; but is it too late?

Carly’s mother, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zemen) has disliked Nelle from the moment she arrived, and now that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) has given Bobbie something to use against Nelle, Carly won’t even hear it.  She reassures her mother that her marriage to Sonny is fine, and she doesn’t believe anything Bobbie is telling her.

GH’s Carly has always been very street smart; spoilers implying that Sonny and Carly may actually shatter when she finally finds out what he has been keeping; a secret that won’t just affect them… something that could potentially destroy their son Michael.
