General Hospital Spoilers: Are There Two Jason Morgan’s Roaming Port Charles?

“General Hospital,” spoilers and rumors tease there are two Jason Morgan’s (Billy Miller) roaming the piers of Port Charles! Really? Well, anything’s possible in soap land, right?

Nurse Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) young son Jake is deathly afraid of his dad, Jason, according to Liz’s boyfriend Franco (Roger Howarth).

Of course Franco has a motive to make such an outrageous claim since Jason has ordered Franco to stay away from Jake, effectively killing Liz and Franco’s relationship.

Is Franco telling the truth, or is he retaliating against Jason? On Friday’s episode of General Hospital, fans were left questioning just who it is that little Jake is afraid of.

Jake denies that he is in fear of his dad when Jason asks him. But could Jason have an evil twin, a doppelganger, or a man masquerading as him?

Ever since fan favorite Steve Burton (ex Dylan McAvoy, “The Young and the Restless,”) exited the role of Stone Cold, fans have been trying to find a way to get him back on GH. As a recast, Miller has made the role his own, but that hasn’t stopped the voices calling for Burton’s return.

Now that Burton’s left Y&R, the come-back chorus has gotten louder, and more creative, suggesting that Burton return as an “alternative Jason.”

Really, Jason 2.0? Not so fast! According to ABC’s manager of current programming, Nathan Varni, any notions that there are two Jason’s in town are nothing more than wishful thinking. Darn!  Then again, this wouldn’t be the first time that TPTB at General Hospital have told a little white lie to fans to protect General Hospital spoilers.

Now a Tennessee resident, Burton is involved in two new business ventures, runs a restaurant, and tours with Port Chuck, the band he created with other GH alums. “I don’t consider going to L.A.,” he said in a recent online chat session.

So, the dream of having two Jason’s back in Port Charles looks to be just another whimsical, daytime fantasy.
