General Hospital Recap Tuesday February 28: Finn’s Power Play – JaSam Welcomes Scout – Marriage In Crisis

General Hospital’s Tuesday episode’s excitement begins with Jason (Billy Miller) on the footbridge talking to Spinelli on the phone, saying he can’t find Sam (Kelly Monaco).

Sam is lying on the ground underneath him but can’t yell for help. Jason explains it’s so dark, he can’t see anything, and there is way too much ground to search and doesn’t know what to do. Sam saying quietly “Jason I’m down here”.

As Jason looks up to the sky, the moon appears. He glances to the ground, watching Sam fall unconscious. He calls for an ambulance and slides down the side of the wall to rescues Sam.
Sam is able to be conscious enough to make Jason promise he is will take care of Scout no matter what happens. Sam says the contractions are too fast. She screams. She’s scared. “Our baby is in trouble”!
Jason reminds her she’s his Phoenix and has to push one last time. Sam is exhausted but reaches deep within and screams as she pushes Scout out. Baby girl is not breathing. Sam asks why she isn’t crying. Jason performs CPR saying “come on Scout, come on breathe”. Scout starts crying. Jason turns to Sam to find her unconscious again. “Sam! Sam! Wake up!” Sirens can be heard faintly in the distance.
Michael (Chad Duell) tells Tracy (Jane Elliott) they did all they could do to save GH. Tracy leaves the board room to tell inform Hayden (Rebecca Budig), Monica (Leslie Charleson) and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) the bad news. Finn asks if there are any other ways to save GH. Tracy explains they’re just minutes away from notarizing confirmation of the vote.
Finn asks her to stall for a few minutes and runs down the hall. Finn contacts the Drug Company that wanted to purchase his formula and asks if their offer is still on the table. While he’s on the phone Tracy and Michael are doing a song and dance to stall the final vote. Gray asks for the nonsense to end and confirm the vote.
Finn opens the door, holding a fax confirming the amount he sold his drug formula to the drug company. He promises to give the money to GH allowing it to stay open. Tracy gets majority vote to veto previous vote and to secure second vote. Hayden smiles at Finn for saving GH.
Michael leaves the board room and runs into Sonny in the hallway. Michael mentions taking Nelle to the cabin, spending the night, how well it went and they have a future together.
Liv (Tonya Walker) has Julian (William DeVry) still chained to the wall of her apartment. Julian begs her to release him. He’s concerned about Sam falling off the bridge and the condition of the baby. Liv pouts he only cares about himself and never her. She mentions how their father was disappointed in him and still would be. Julian tells Liv she’s going to get her victory, GH and him out of her life. . Liv sees little growth in Julian in over the years

She’s waiting for text from Gray on how the board voted. Gray’s text finally arrives notifying her deal feel through. “You murdered Duke, so maybe I should murder you”.
Bobbie (Jackyln Zeman) enters Carly’s office to find Nelle leaving. Bobbie instructs Nelle to pack her bags and go back to Atlanta “your game is over”. Nelle confident Bobbie knows nothing. Nelle says Michael likes her and she has to get use to it. Bobbie says that’s only because he doesn’t know the truth about you. Nelle says so Felecia found out I’m from Florida and not Georgia, big deal. I only want the best for Carly and her family.
Bobbie asks “When you slept with Sonny, how was that the best thing for Carly’s family”? Nelle is starts crying then yelling “you don’t know what you’ve done”! You should have stayed out of it”! Bobbie tells Nelle to pack her bags and go back to Florida or whatever hole she crawled out of. Nelle grabs her coat and heads to GH to find Michael. Bobbie leaves Carly a voicemail she doesn’t have to worry Nelle has been handled.
Carly (Laura Wright) sitting on Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) couch listening to the audio of Sonny saying “under no circumstances should Carly know we had sex”. Carly’s phone starts ringing. It’s Sonny. She hits decline. “Sleeping together was my fault. I take complete responsibility”. Carly is crying as she listens to the rest of the tape. Carly shuts the laptop down. Pacing the floor wondering how long Sonny has been sleeping with Nelle. She flashes back to the past several months and the little conversations that could have been clues.
Carly says “Oh Nelle you know nothing about payback but you will now”. Carly starts to leave and Sonny standing at the door. Carly asks what he’s doing there. He wants to go home to talk. He has something to tell her. She says no one is here now, let’s talk now. She mentions how he wanted to renew their wedding vows. Carly notices how nervous Sonny appears standing in Nelle’s apartment. Sonny says it’s an invasion of privacy. Carly tells Sonny it offends her that he’s been screwing Nelle!
