General Hospital Recap Monday June 12: Ava Wakes Up – Stella Stirs Up Drama – Joss Freaks Out On Sonny And Carly – Spencer Makes Plans To Stay

Monday’s June 12 episode of General Hospital begins with Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) telling Curtis (Donnell Turner) that maybe Stella (Vernee Watson) has a point about their relationship. Maybe Curtis should take a step away from Jordan. Curtis wants to be with Jordan and Stella just needs time to adjust to their relationship. Jordan’s concerned how Stella will react finding out Shawn is really TJ”s father. Curtis says they’ll tell her when the time is right.

Stella surprises TJ (Tequan Richmond) at Kelly’s. Stella tells TJ his father had drive and worked hard but Curtis just focuses on himself. TJ mentions they haven’t seen each other in a long time and thought she quit caring about him because of what Jordan said. Stella assumes Jordan told TJ the family didn’t care about him.

Jordan and Curtis walk in. Stella confronts Jordan. Jordan says she wasn’t keeping TJ from her. Stella is upset because she missed out on a lot of things when TJ was younger. Jordan wants to make things better and hopes Stella can give her a chance. Curtis pulls Stella to the side while TJ tells Jordan he didn’t tell Stella the truth.

Jordan wants to break it gently to Stella and asks him to keep the secret for now. Later TJ serves them chocolate cake to celebrate his birthday. He asks Stella how long she’s in town. Stella says was only going to be a few days but now its open ended.

Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) and Laura (Genie Francis) are outside of Kelly’s discussing his bad behavior while with Hayden (Rebecca Budig). Spencer has to wash Hayden’s car as part of the apology he owes. Scott (Kin Shriner) walks up and Spencer goes inside. Laura asks Scott if it’s true he helped Ava with what she did to Morgan. Scott justifies it as his professional obligation. Laura feels Ava would have been better off being arrested. Spencer returns as Scott asks Laura if he’s still worth rooting for. Laura wishes he would make it easier for her.

Kiki (Hayley Erin) is talking to unconscious Ava (Maura West) saying how much she loves her. Kiki begs Ava to fight to stay alive. Ava opens her eyes. Ava tells Kiki they need to talk. Kiki leaves to get the doctor. Kiki sees Dillon and updates him on Ava’s condition. Kiki mentions Ava facing criminal charges in the future. Ava’s doctor updates Kiki and Dillon the next step is removing dead tissue and start skin grafts. Kiki tells Dillon he can go home and get rest. She’s going back inside to stay with Ava.

Dillon sees Scott as he’s leaving. Scott asks about Ava’s condition and if the cops have been there to see her. Scott doesn’t want Ava say anything to incriminate herself or others. Dillon calls him a sleazy lawyer as he punches him in the face. Ava is fighting for her life. Dillon tells Scott to leave.

The doctor tells Ava she went into cardiac arrest due to her burns. Ava asks why he didn’t let her die. He asks if she wants a DNR order so if it happens again he won’t resuscitate. Kiki sees the DNR order on Ava’s chart and wants it removed. Ava crying and begs Kiki not to tear it up. Kiki finally agrees. Ava is sorry for what she did to Kiki and Morgan. Kiki can’t handle this discussion and asks her to just rest.

Carly (Laura Wright) tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) maybe they can have peace now for their son and for them. As they’re kissing Joss (Eden McCoy) arrives home. Sonny leaves. Joss tells her Mom that Sonny is the worst thing that happened to her. Carly deserves better than Sonny. Joss asks if Carly would want her with a guy that doesn’t treat her good enough. Joss continues saying taking Sonny back isn’t strength; it’s hopelessness but Carly is going to do what she wants. Joss stomps upstairs.

Laura and Spencer arrive to Sonny’s with food from Kelly’s. After they finish eating Spencer takes his plate to the kitchen. Laura tells Sonny they’re working out details on how long Spencer can stay. Sonny says Spencer is welcome there anytime. Laura mentions Carly not being there to help. Sonny tells her things are looking up. It’s not a done deal but Carly is coming back. Spencer returns and Sonny tells him about taking him to see the old neighborhood. Spencer asks if Joss can tag along. Sonny says she’s welcome to but probably has other plans for the summer.
