General Hospital Recap Monday April 17: JaSam On The Hunt – Jax Arrested – Julexis Reunited

Monday’s April 17 episode of General Hospital begins with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) sitting on a bench at the park looking at the photo of Julian (William deVry) that Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) snapped. Sam (Kelly Monaco) arrives. Alexis is distracted from learning Julian is alive. Jason (Billy Miller) walks up saying he couldn’t find Julian. Jason says Julian didn’t come forward because he’s facing charges. Sam’s concerned for Alexis’s safety. Alexis reassures Sam and Jason she doesn’t need protection. Jason suggests they call Sonny. Alexis says no guards and do not follow me. Alexis leaves.

Kiki (Hayley Erin) thanks Dillon for helping her studying as they walk down the stairs at the Quartermaine mansion. Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) arrive for their engagement dinner party. Dillon grabs his camera and takes several pictures of the newly engaged couple.

Laura (Genie Frances) tells Tracy (Jane Elliott) the painting looks great but isn’t certain tonight is the right time to reveal it. Tracy insists it is. Monica (Leslie Charleson) walks in the room asking why it is in her living room. Monica demands the easel be removed. Laura distracts Monica by saying she has lots of questions being a new hospital board member. They leave the room together.

Larry Ashton (Hugo Napier) walks in and tells Tracy she wouldn’t have that painting if not for him and wants a finder fee. Tracy tells him the drink is his compensation.

Everyone gathers in the Q’s living room. Olivia tells Tracy she brought Bruschetta. Tracy says Cook 2 will be offended she brought food to a Q party. Tracy says she has something to show everyone. Monica says not interested. Smoke alarms go off. Tracy blames Olivia for upsetting Cook 2. Ned notes no smoke smell and suggests everyone take a room and search the house.

Sam and Jason arrive and ask Dillon to see his camera again. They want to search the photos for any clues on Julian. Sam recognizes the tattoo on the guy in the photo as Hooper that works on the docks. Sam and Jason leave.

Minutes later everyone arrives back to the living room. Larry plays oblivious to the smoke alarms. Monica welcomes Olivia into their family and says they can have the west wing. Tracy says that’s her part of the house and she’s not moving. Monica reminds her who owns the house. Tracy tells Ned and Olivia she’s happy for them. She sees how happy Ned is now. “From the bottom of my heart thank you Olivia”.

Tracy stands up and says now it’s my turn. Tracy informs them of the letter from Edward, took a trip with a friend and retrieved a portrait Edward wanted her to have and it resembles her. Tracy lifts the cloth off the portrait and it’s been replaced with a clown picture. Everyone laughs.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) barges in to Carly’s (Laura Wright). Sonny tells Jax everything is his fault. Carly demands Sonny get out of her house. Carly threatens to call the police. Sonny encourages it and thinks Jax needs arrested. Carly blames Sonny while Sonny blames Jax. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrives looking for Sonny. Carly tells Sonny to leave with Dante. Dante explains Michael called him worried about Sonny. Jax admits to Dante he paid Frank Benson for the kidney unaware it was Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier). Sonny recorded Jax’s “confession” of guilt. Dante tells Sonny he doesn’t want to do this. He says he does and it’s time for Jax to pay up. Carly calls Sonny a sneaky SOB. Sonny grins and leaves.

Sonny arrives home to find Michael (Chad Duell) there. Sonny informs Michael that Jax is probably getting arrested right now. Michael defends Jax and says he didn’t know Nelle was a threat. Sonny thinks Jax will pay to cut a deal, pay a fine and spend a couple nights in county jail. Michael is worried Jax will get life in prison. Sonny can’t take it back. It’s done. Michael tells Sonny he’d better pray he can clean this up or Carly won’t forgive him. Neither will anyone else!

Dante tells Jax he has to arrest him and starts to put handcuffs on him. Joss (Eden McCoy) walks in. Dante decides not to cuff Jax and let him explain to Joss what has happened. Jax explains to Joss about getting Nelle’s kidney. Joss hugs Jax. Jax isn’t going to run from this and goes to PCPD with Dante. Carly tells Joss she’ll post bond for Jax in the morning. She explains to Joss how Dante found out. Joss is upset Sonny had her Dad arrested. Joss hopes Carly never goes back to Sonny.

Julian’s on the docks looking at the picture of him and Alexis. A thug walks up and tells Julian he took care of everything. Alexis arrives on the docks. She thinks back to her marriage to Julian and when he tied to kill her. Julian steps out and Alexis sees him. Later Sam and Jason arrive to the docks. No sign of Julian or the dock worker. They start to leave and Sam sees Alexis’s scarf lying on the dock.
