‘General Hospital’ News: Tristan Rogers Tweets About ‘GH’ Storyline – Seems Unhappy with Writing?

‘General Hospital’ Tristan Rogers [Robert Scorpio] must have been in a playful mood on the night of Tuesday, January 3. The actor, who also appears on ‘The Young and the Restless’ [Colin Atkinson] took to Twitter for an impromptu question and answer session.

Tristan started off the informal Q&A with this tweet, “Sooooo ask me some “dum a–” stupid question. I’ve had a drink or three.” The first of these questions was “What’s your go to drink?” to which Tristan replied wine was his drink of choice that evening but the next night it could be a “vodka sofa” but what he really meant was a vodka soda.

The Twitter conversation with fans turned toward the ‘General Hospital’ storylines. When asked “what would be your dream storyline if/when Robert would return to GH?” Tristan replied, “Something that makes sense. So clearly it ain’t going to happen.”

As the Twitter question and answer continued a fan noted that the writers back in the 1980s and 1990s wrote excellent storylines. “U couldn’t get me away from the show” the fan revealed.

Tristan’s reply to that comment was, “I’ll bet they can now.” Is Tristan Rogers unhappy with the writing team at ‘General Hospital’? Either the actor was joking around with fans or Tristan does not think the current co-head writers Shelly Altman and Jean Passanante are leading the team of writers in the right direction.

Tristan Rogers wrapped up the Twitter question and answer period about an hour later, saying, “Well everyone I’ve totally enjoyed this. Think I’ll do it again. Not sure when. Luv ya all. Be well.”

Earlier that day Tristan tweeted that he will be at the LAX Weston with Ian Buchanan [Duke Lavery], Finola Hughes [Anna Devane], Jackie Zeman [Bobbie Spencer] and Wally Kurth [Ned Ashton] on Saturday, January 7 and invited ‘GH’ and ‘Y&R’ fans to drop by for a visit.
