‘General Hospital’ News: Kelly Thiebaud Relocates To New York City To Start A New Adventure

Former ‘General Hospital’ star Kelly Thiebaud [Dr. Britt Westbourne] took to Instagram and announced a major life change,  the actress has moved to New York from California.

On New Year’s Day the former ‘GH’ actress posted a black and white pic on Twitter. In the photo Kelly is holding a sparkler and wrote, “New year. New me. New adventures. New city. My heart is opened and I’m so ready for all that’s coming. #2017.”

It has been weeks since either Kelly Thiebaud or Bryan Craig posted any photos together on Instagram or Twitter. Both posted holiday greetings and spent time with family, but separately.

Neither Kelly nor Bryan have spoken out publicly about their engagement in quite a while, but it looks like the couple may have split.  Especially since Kelly is now living in NYC and Bryan is still on the West Coast.

Bryan suffered a foot injury in November and shared a photo on social media with ‘General Hospital’ fans.  However, it was Bryan’s mother who cared for him following the injury. There was no mention of fiancé Kelly at all. This lead many to believe the couple, who planned to marry in March 2017, had called off their engagement and have gone their separate ways.

Over the past few weeks Kelly has tweeted several times from New York City. On December 19, the actress revealed, “Really loving my time in NYC so far. Looking forward to booking a few projects here and exploring more of my favorite city.”

In an interview in October 2016 Kelly indicated that she was open to returning to ‘General Hospital’ but couldn’t reach terms for a contract that was agreeable to both TPTB and the actress. Kelly Thiebaud indicated she would love to return to ‘GH’ but only on a recurring basis.

Not long after Bryan Craig vacated his role as Morgan on ‘General Hospital.’ The actor is currently pursuing other projects. It appears that Bryan is now living in Los Angeles without Kelly as she pursues a new career and a new life in New York City.

Bryan Craig has been busy posting pics to Instagram, but the last photo of Bryan and Kelly together was nearly five months ago. The couple look happy, Kelly is smiling and Bryan has his arm around his fiancée. Bryan wrote, “Red hats FTW, movie night in the middle of the cemetery with the lady.”

Have Kelly Thiebaud and Bryan Craig called it quits? ‘General Hospital’ fans are curious because a similar thing happened when ‘GH’ co-stars Chad Duell [Michael Quartermaine] and Kristen Alderson [Kiki Jerome] split nearly two years ago. Following the break up Kristen moved to New York City, started acting classes and began the auditioning process.

Regardless, Soap Opera Spy is excited to see what new things Kelly Thiebaud is working on in NYC.
