Nobody was expecting the amount of drama we got this week on EastEnders. But, it was the most action packed episodes we’ve had in a very long time. An epic car crash, emotional confessions and of course Sylvie’s death.
Fans saw Michelle Fowler (played by Jenna Russel) crash into the fish and chip show on Tuesday night but had to wait until now to find out what happened.

Three unlucky characters were caught up in the aftermath of this event. Cathy was working in the shop and received minor injuries, Kush was toppled by the car but luckily escaped with just a broken shoulder.
But, worst of all Michelle who was driving was not conscious during the episode, she was taken to hospital in an ambulance and it is not yet known if she will survive the life-saving surgery she now requires.
The crash was caused by Michelle’s illicit love affair with the seventeen year old American Preston, which had just been revealed to the whole square. She chased after her young love and lost control of her car. Is this karma for being in such an illegal affair? For lying to her niece Bex about her boyfriend, who was heartbroken tonight when she found out about their scandal?

In an emotional scene we saw long term dementia suffer Sylvie (played by Linda Marlowe) wander out of bed during this commotion, with nobody to guide her. She innocently ran a bath but carelessly left the radio on the tub. Sadly it fell in and she was electrified. Her daughter Tina found her in the bath and screamed, obviously heartbroken. She had been trying to save her mother from the mind altering disease for months.
What will happen next, will Michelle survive? And if she does will she be prosecuted over her and Preston’s relationship. How will the Carter family survive after another tragic loss?
