The much anticipated “EastEnders,” spinoff “Redwater,” has debuted in Ireland, revealing a fiery and intense plotline sure to enthrall devoted fans. What dangerous secrets do Kat and Alfie Moon uncover on the Emerald Isle?

Two major plotlines are revealed in the show’s pilot, which debuted in the Republic of Ireland a full four days prior to its premier in the UK. The BBC One drama centers on Alfie helping his wife Kat to find her long lost son.

Kat’s baby son was taken away from her after his birth because she was a single, teen mom. Along the way the character was involved in other high profile dramas including a subsequent baby swap, and playing out the deceitful storyline involving her sister/daughter Zoe.

In the show opener Kat’s unknown son’s startling identity is revealed: the mystery man is a priest named Dermott! But the shock doesn’t end there, as it’s revealed that the man of the cloth has a jolting secret: he’s a killer.

The premiere ends with this amazing cliffhanger, but with the truth still unknown to Kat and Alfie. The longtime couple remain in the dark about the astounding revelation that’s sure to hit Kat like a ton of bricks.
