EastEnders Spoilers: Miscarriage Storyline For Bernadette Taylor

EastEnders fans have been warned to brace for a wild stretch of storytelling come September, but the twists and turns just keep coming. Sadly, the latest upcoming Walford tragedy to be revealed involves teenager Bernadette Taylor (Clair Norris).

The Taylor family haven’t been in town too long, but as soon as they hit Albert Square chaos ensued. Matriarch Karen (Lorraine Stanley) has gotten into it with the other residents, and in July viewers learned that her high school daughter was pregnant.

The unplanned pregnancy turned the family upside down, and now it looks like Bernadette is in for a major heartbreak. Show spoilers reveal that Bernadette will lose her baby. The teen was perhaps not emotionally prepared to become a mother, but she was nonetheless committed to welcoming her baby into the world.

Unfortunately, the Taylor family is due to suffer a devastating loss as TPTB have disclosed that young Bernadette will suffer a miscarriage next week. Bernadette’s sorrow will come at a time that sees much of Albert Square caught up in turmoil and confusion.

Showrunners have promised a dramatic start to the month in Walford, with at least one and likely two characters not surviving the bedlam. First off, a devastating explosion will destroy Walford in Bloom. After the inferno erupts, one resident will even resort to gunfire in the muddled up aftermath.

Next up the Beale restaurant will go up in flames, although that fiery scene will have been orchestrated by snaky Max Branning (Jake Wood). It’s amid all of this drama that single mom Karen must remain strong for her family. But she’ll get a surprise shoulder to lean on as she faces the future.

The matriarch of the Carter family, Shirley Carter (Linda Henry), will come to Karen’s aid when she needs it most. These two strong ladies have a lot in common, and it will be interesting to see where their alliance goes from here, as both of their families are confronting serious crises.
