EastEnders Spoilers: Max Branning Makes His Move – Revenge Plot Under Way!

Since his return to Walford, “EastEnders,” chrome-dome Max Branning has been poised to strike: but at whom? The exonerated ex-felon has supposedly forgiven everyone involved in his unfortunate imprisonment, but is he too good to be true?

The charismatic sleaze ball made a triumphant return to town on Christmas Day. He promptly went about letting Phil, Jane, and Ian know that his present to them was forgiveness for their parts in putting him away for a crime he didn’t commit.

Max has tried to put up a good front of settling back into civilian life, and appearing to be normal. But viewers know that the troubled man has a penchant for putting out his cigarettes on his arm; that’s definitely not normal!

We know that revenge has always been a part of his secret plan, and now it looks like the day of reckoning is about to descend on unsuspecting Walford.

When Max recently met up with a less than honorable acquaintance at The Shard, it wasn’t to make small talk or exchange pleasantries (or cigarettes). Max’s intent is to see that his acquaintance takes possession of The Vic.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem too far-fetched, with the Carter family currently in all kinds of turmoil. Matriarch Sylvie has the Carter’s in emotional angst with her drama and issues. The dementia sufferer is not beloved, and her presence is slowly wearing down the family’s resolve.

On top of that, Mick Carter is having financial difficulties, and The Vic seems to be having one expensive problem after another. Are these unfortunate coincidences, or Max’s evil machinations?

Loyal viewers are in for shock when Max makes his underhanded move in the coming days. Will his revenge involve ultimately wresting the bar away from the Carter family? And if so, how will this affect the already fragile Mick? We recently saw him crying into his pillow, is his reality about to get a lot worse?
