EastEnders News: Patsy Palmer Slates The Soap – Why She Won’t Watch EastEnders

In an episode of Loose Women, Patsy Palmer revealed that she no longer even watches EastEnders due to the show’s downfall. In the interview she said that soap culture has torn apart the shows integrity, “I haven’t watched it, obviously for ages.”

Insinuating that the constant media coverage of the show, including fan theories and news articles have ruined the experience. “I used to say, ‘You’re supposed to have a cliff-hanger, why do you keep telling everyone what’s going to happen?'”

Well we would solidly disagree with Patsy on this matter but that doesn’t mean we don’t still love her character Bianca and wish she would make a return to the square.

Bianca was iconic for the loud screech “Rickkkky” and she has always been a fan favourite for her down to earth attitude. We loved her many tracksuits and golden hooped earrings but most of all her relationship with Ricky, their ups and downs had us glued to our TV’s.

Most of her family has now vacated Walford but her daughter Whitney is currently living with the Carters, could she make a return to help her grown up child in need? If she did return she could potentially bring back many of her other children who were known for being wild and unruly, especially Tiffany.

Unfortunately the actress has said “I don’t actually miss acting one bit, I just don’t.” But she is over in the UK to have talks with a BBC producer about a new acting role. This does mean it is not likely to be EastEnders but Patsy Palmer may be on British Television in the near future.

But, there is one glimmer of hope Patsy said the last time she went to Elstree studios she stayed for seven whole years. Patsy Palmer is now living over in the USA, she resides in Malibu with her husband Richard Merkall and their children.
