Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Summer Preview – Murder Mystery – Lives In Peril – Exciting Returns

“Days of Our Lives,” fans can expect lots of red-hot action in store this summer, as well as the introduction of bold and innovative stories from new head writer, Ron Carlivati.

First off, the island story will come to a dramatic conclusion in early summer. But before the plane crash survivors can be rescued, expect at least one person’s life to be in peril due to a sudden sickness that causes strange behaviors to emerge.

Back at home, Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) and Abigail (Marci Miller) will continue their marriage charade, but not everyone is convinced by their act. Look for these two to confront some harsh circumstances before the unforgiving truth sets them free.

Anjelica’s (Morgan Fairchild) back in town, and creating waves that affect Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Adrienne’s (Judi Evans) plans. She’ll be willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants!

Anjelica isn’t the only lovely lady to come back to Salem, as Hattie (Deirdre Hall) also makes a return appearance. Expect the exuberant blonde to strike up a relationship with someone very unexpected!

Who doesn’t love an old fashioned murder mystery? DOOL fans will be treated to a classic whodunit in early summer. Expect the time-honored plotline to disrupt the lives of several Salemites, as the good guys try to solve the crime.

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) begin to take their relationship status beyond the casual level, but something stops them before they can exchange rings. Could the murder mystery put a permanent end to Rope? Or perhaps Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) will? Rope tangles with the madman as they try to bring down the Halo drug ring.

The Johnson family is hiding an enemy within its ranks, and the future looks bleak for Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Will Joey (James Lastovic) and Patch (Stephen Nichols) be able to save Sweetness before it’s too late?

Fans can look forward to Carlivati’s (former head writer for General Hospital) exciting new stories to begin airing in late summer.
