Did sweet Abigail (Marci Miller) marry a murderer on “Days of Our Lives?” Right now half of Salem is under suspicion for murdering madman Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) and the other half would gladly have done the deed if they thought they could get away with it.

Deimos was a slimy excuse for a man, and it would be hard to catch anyone willing to admit to finding a redeeming quality in the Greek Freak. He was responsible for the paralysis of his brother’s beloved wife, and his latest crime involved moving illegal street drugs through the bucolic town. Now he’s dead, after drugging a party full of unsuspecting celebrants with the illicit drug, Halo.

On a related note, does anyone remember when Irizarry, as Dr. David on “All My Children,” drugged a party full of unsuspecting celebrants with the illicit drug, libidizone? What a great soapy coincidence!

Back in the day Dr. David lived to see another day, but this time around Irizarry’s kooky character had his final curtain call following his mass poisoning. Let’s hope that the legendary soap vet is back on our daytime tv screens stat!

Anyway, back in this century, Deimos was a recipient of a big old knife stuck straight through his dark heart. What does this have to do with newlyweds Abigail and Dario (Jordi Vilasuso)? Explosive Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that John and Paul uncover a hot new lead in the murder, and the main suspect may be someone who wasn’t even at the party!
