‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Kassie DePaiva Shares Exciting News With Her Fans

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) news indicate that Eve (Kassie DePaiva) may be on her way back to Salem since Kassie DePaiva recently shared some great news with her fans via twitter. In a previous blog post, Kassie DePaiva publicized some bad news about her health. She’s been fighting a very serious disease and decided to address her health issues on social media and told her viewers what had been going on with her.

DePaiva informed her fans recently that she was asked to return to Days of Our Lives and she later began filming some scenes which should air later this month. However, her comeback was disrupted a short time after this announcement was made. During the July 2016 break, DePaiva received some heartbreaking news, she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. She’s been hospitalized for about six weeks and had been having complications off and on.

Kassie DePaiva took to social media a few months ago and assured her fans that she still had three months of treatment to go, but she remained optimistic about the future. She stated that “My prognosis is good.” She continued by stating “I will not likely need a stem cell/bone marrow transplant, and we expect a complete cure.”. As DePaiva’s fight against Leukemia had been going on for many months, she then dropped a bigger bombshell on her fans just today.

She recently took to twitter to share the great news on February 4th, 2017 and stated that “Today is #WorldCancerDay and I’m grateful I can say I am cancer free. To all of you who battle cancer…fight on! Trust the journey!” We send Depaiva nothing but positive thoughts and a big congratulations on the fight she has won against cancer! We look forward to seeing DePaiva back in Salem anytime now.
