Coronation Street Spoilers: Michelle Keegan Look-Alike Joins Corrie Cast!

Is Michelle Keegan returning to Coronation Street? That’s what a lot of fans of the hit series can’t help but wonder while some are even asking if her character Tina is back from the dead! Apparently, a Michelle Keegan-look-alike has joined the cast, leaving everyone very confused and looking for answers!

Many fans remember when Michelle’s character Tina was killed by Rob Donovan after falling off a building back in 2014. Yet viewers couldn’t help but wonder when someone who looks just like Tina appeared at Rovers Return during a recent episode. According to reports, the brunette beauty is actually former Hollyoaks star Saira Choudhry. She’s playing a journalist named Naila on the show.

Still, many fans commented on her uncanny resemblance to Michelle. Many viewers took to Twitter to write, “Is that journalist in Corrie related to Michelle Keegan? She certainly looks like her!” along with, “Thought Michelle Keegan had returned from the dead on #Corrie today.”

While Michelle hasn’t said anything about the comparisons, she recently did say that she’s glad she was killed off on Coronation Street. She told the Daily Star, “If the door had been left open at Corrie I would have had that safety net. I would have thought, ‘It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t work out, I can always go back after a year.’ But the way things are I can’t do that, so I have to go out and find work. I have to push myself now and go for lots of auditions. I’m a jobbing actress. It means I go to meetings and I enjoy that buzz.”
