Total viewers for ‘DOOL’ the week of July 11-15 reached 2,092,000, and that represents a gain of 47,000 viewers. There was also a jump in the ratings for women 18-49 with 379,000 tuned in. That’s 4,000 viewers in that category over the previous week.
After three straight weeks of declining ratings across the board ‘General Hospital’ had an up-and-down week. Total viewers were down – 2,580,000 tuned in. That’s a loss of 7,000 in that category. However, women 18-49 came back with 456,000 watching the soap opera. That shows a gain of 15,000 viewers in that demographic.
Preemptions on Tuesday, July 12 caused a massive drop in ratings for ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ across the board. With 3,602,000 watching the week of July 11-15 ‘B&B’ lost 154,000 total viewers. In the women 18-49 demographic the soap opera lost 28,000 viewers with 509,000 tuning in.
‘The Young and the Restless’ ratings also took a major hit due to the preemptions on Tuesday, July 12. With 4,431,000 total viewers watching the daytime drama lost 235,000 total viewers compared to the previous week. With women 18-49 ‘Y&R’ hit a new low – 574,000 were watching in this demographic. This represents a loss of 80,000 viewers for the week of July 11-15.
