‘The Young and the Restless’ Wednesday, October 5 Spoilers: Sharon Tries to Reason with Patty – Mariah’s Stress Skyrockets – Ashley Wants Phyllis Out of Jabot

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, October 5, tease that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will pick a fight with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). She’ll insist that Jabot is a family company and Phyllis isn’t family anymore. Ashley won’t think Phyllis belongs there, especially after all of the strife she’s caused for the Abbotts.

Phyllis knows her behavior has caused plenty of trouble, but she’s trying to make amends. She wants to correct her mistakes and move forward with Jack (Peter Bergman). Phyllis is willing to put up with a cramped office and a gigantic pile of paperwork if it means getting her life back. Jack made a deal and Phyllis expects him to keep his end of the bargain.

Phyllis is holding out hope for reconciliation, but she’s definitely got a long battle ahead of her. Elsewhere, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will feel like she’s losing a battle of her own. She’ll frantically call Sharon’s (Sharon Case) number, but she’ll only be able to reach her voicemail. Dylan (Steve Burton) is getting closer to the truth and disaster could be looming.

Tuesday’s preview video shows Mariah stating, “Dylan is on his way. You need to do something, Sharon. Call me back.” Mariah will hope that Sharon will check her messages and get in touch with her immediately. Alas, Sharon is busy dealing with a very chatty Patty (Stacy Haiduk).

Now that Patty is threatening to expose everything, Sharon is on the brink of a total meltdown. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Sharon will say anything she can think of to keep her secret under wraps. She’s desperate to preserve her perfect family.

Sharon might suggest that nobody will buy what Patty is selling. She may argue that Patty’s accusations will be viewed as the ridiculous ramblings of an insane woman. That would probably be true if there weren’t so many questions about the night Sully was born. Dylan has always been unsure of how things went down.

Patty will maintain that her voice will be heard. If Patty gets the chance to give Dylan updates, Sharon’s world could change in an instant.
