‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday May 4: Adam Named in Sage’s Will – Max Has Charlie Steal Master Key Card – Nick Enraged at Sage’s Memorial

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, May 4, tease that everyone will get ready for Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) memorial service. At the penthouse, Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) discuss the funeral. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) shows up and tells Adam that he was named in Sage’s will. There’s a reading at Newman after the service and Adam needs to be in attendance.

Once Michael leaves, Adam opens up to Chelsea about his fears. He’s worried that the will could show he’s tied to Christian. Chelsea doesn’t think Victor (Eric Braeden) blabbed and suggests that Sage wasn’t vindictive anyway.

At the athletic club, Dylan (Steve Burton) calls Lily (Christel Khalil). He says Abby (Melissa Ordway) wants an investigation of what led to her fall. Dylan will be checking things out for her. Abby walks in and Max (Jared Breeze) takes the opportunity to lash out at her. He says Stitch (Sean Carrigan) won’t forgive her for her accusations.

Max heads off to meet up with Charlie (Aidan Clark) while Abby and Lily chat. Lily asks why Max and Stitch are staying in a suite. Abby brings up her suspicions and insists she’s right about Max’s involvement. Lily thinks these accusations are a big deal. This is the kind of thing that can wreck a marriage.

Nearby, Luca (Miles Gaston Villauneva) comes downstairs following a sex session with Summer (Hunter King). He lets Devon (Bryton James) know that he’s looking for business prospects in town. Devon tells Luca good luck and walks over to Lily’s table. When he hears about Abby’s claims, Devon becomes concerned that Max needs help.

Lily tells Devon to give Dylan anything that might be useful to the investigation. Max eavesdrops and then suggests a game to Charlie. He urges Charlie to steal the master key card. A short time later, Max uses the card to sneak into the office with all of the surveillance footage. Back with Lily and Devon, an alarm goes off. Lily suspects Max and Charlie may have been up to something. She grills them about it.

At Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) place, he tries to prepare Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) for the memorial service. Nick admits it will be a sad goodbye, but they can talk about all of the good times they shared with Sage. Noah (Robert Adamson) arrives with Summer. Faith heads upstairs and Nick speaks about the Newman curse.

Noah thinks Nick is right, but Summer is proud to be a Newman. Nick concedes that maybe there isn’t a curse after all. He hugs Summer and they all head to the memorial. At Sharon (Sharon Case) and Dylan’s house, she tells him she just can’t bear going to Sage’s funeral. Dylan reminds Sharon of how much she helped Sage by letting her take comfort in Sully. He thinks Sharon should go and pay her respects for Faith’s sake.

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) rips into Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for handing over her vote. She wants to know why Nikki did it. Nikki mentions her tense visit with Victor. She’s disheartened over the fact that Victor probably won’t ever forgive her. However, Nikki is very apologetic that her actions caused Victoria pain.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Victor will have a deep chat with Dr. Gates (Alicia Coppola). At the prison infirmary, Victor states that Dr. Gates needs to understand her father’s side of things. Dr. Gates doesn’t approve of the way Victor is intentionally upsetting his kids. Victor confesses that he wishes he could be at Sage’s service to help Nick through his grief.

Victor wants Dr. Gates to take his place, but she’s hesitant to get too involved. In response, Victor musters some tears. Luca comes for a visit later and wants to be Victor’s guy on the inside at Newman. Victor thinks he has it covered and yells for Luca to get out of his face. This obviously isn’t the news Luca was hoping for.

At the park, Nick doesn’t want Adam to hold himself responsible because of Sage’s phone call. As the memorial service begins, Nick talks about Sage smiling down on them. Sharon looks nervous. Faith chooses a sweet memory and tells everyone about it. She thinks Sharon should go next, but she passes to Adam. He brings up his own bond with Sage and points out how much she adored Nick.

Finally, Nick takes his turn as Dr. Gates quietly appears in the back. Nick mentions trying to embrace life, but he becomes enraged. Nick doesn’t know how he can do that now. He feels all alone without his wife and son. Nick rants until Sharon stands up and shouts that Nick is wrong. She says he’s not alone.

Will Sharon actually confess or is this just a typical cliffhanger fake-out? We’re willing to bet it’s the latter. Y&R rumors hint that Sharon will keep this secret to herself for a while. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on how long Sharon can hide the truth.
