‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday January 6: Max Blames Mom’s Death on Abby – Victor Wants To Steal Billy’s Venture – Neville’s Ideas Shot Down

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, January 6, reveal that Dr. Neville’s (Michael E. Knight) plans will cause some conflict. At the hospital, Dr. Neville contends that his treatment would prevent Billy’s (Burgess Jenkins) need for surgery. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) asks if Dr. Neville thinks his method will work and he assures her it will.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Stitch (Sean Carrigan) show up. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) mentions Dr. Neville’s doubts about the surgery. At Abby’s urging, Stitch goes with Dr. Neville and another physician to discuss what should be done. Once the docs are alone, Dr. Neville’s ideas are shut down because they’re unorthodox and dangerous. Stitch returns with the decision. They’re moving ahead with Billy’s surgery.

Abby says that Ashley and Dr. Neville are getting pretty close. Ashley replies that she supposes so and points out that Dr. Neville gives hope to the hopeless. Later, Stitch suggests that Ashley and Dr. Neville may have more than just a working relationship. Suddenly, Paul (Doug Davidson) calls Stitch over to the police station.

In the meantime, Paul wonders why Billy needed to win big right now. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) say Billy told them about a project he wanted to work on. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) overhears and comes forward with what he knows. Kevin says he feels guilty about pressuring Billy to get the money quickly. Jack hints that there are several people with regrets at the moment.

Across town, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) once again brings up the idea of having another baby with Adam (Justin Hartley). They check out some reviews online for Abby’s wedding dress. The design was well-received. Adam thinks maybe Chelsea should focus on her line and keep the momentum going.

At Jabot, Dr. Neville complains about how his methods are always ignored. Ashley reminds him that he still has a chance to prove they work through her treatment. Dr. Neville and Ashley agree to begin immediately and they share a hug.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Marisa (Sofia Pernas) will continue to protect Noah (Robert Adamson). At Newman Enterprises, Victor (Eric Braeden) gets updates on Marisa’s efforts to help Noah cover his tracks. When Noah leaves the room, Victor warns Marisa that she’s playing a dangerous game. Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) won’t be pleased if learns Marisa is helping her ex. Victor suggests that someone is going to get hurt and he vows that it won’t be Noah.

Luca acts suspicious of Noah in the hallway and he questions Marisa about her meeting when she exits Victor’s office. Marisa changes the subject to Luca’s deal with Adam. She insists that Adam can’t be trusted. Chelsea and Adam arrive to meet with Victor. They show off the positive reviews and want to cut all ties with Newman. Victor snickers at the idea and points out how much Chelsea has to gain through her connections there.

Talk turns to Billy and Chelsea says Victoria filled her in on the reason for his bets. There was more to it than just gambling. Elsewhere, Luca needs evidence that links Marco (Peter Bergman) to the Santori family. Marisa says Marco used an alias in all of his deals. Luca finds Adam and confirms that Marisa can serve as a source to bring down the Santoris.

Later, Chelsea gives Marisa and Noah the news that she’s expanding. She invites them to come on board. Marisa is interested, but Noah turns Chelsea down. Afterwards, Adam tells Chelsea that she needs to steer clear of Luca and Marisa. Adam adds that they won’t be around for much longer.

Back at the hospital, Victor finds Victoria and asks what she knows about Billy’s project. Victoria realizes that Victor wants in on the venture. Just outside the door of Billy’s room, Jack informs Phyllis that he’s going to provide the money in Billy’s name.

Stitch and Abby end up at the police station. They’re surprised to see Max standing there. Max yells that his mom is dead. He glares at Abby and shouts, “You killed her!” Whoa! It looks like the honeymoon is over for these newlyweds. Y&R rumors hint that plenty of strife is on the way for Abby and Stitch. Stick with the CBS soap to see how this couple will handle the chaos.
