‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Vickie’s Rebound Marriage Looms – Travis A Shaky Groom

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) honestly loves Travis (Michael Roark) on ‘The Young and the Restless‘, or maybe it’s more of a crush. With whatever proves true long-term, ‘Tricky’ is heading to the altar very soon. How long the nuptials remain in place, if they happen, is an open question.

Now Travis is hardly horrible. It was unfair to say that he withheld critical information from Victoria after first arriving from New York. It wasn’t necessary for him to fully explain why he actually moved to Genoa City and bought Hank’s Dive Bar. He did come clean at a later point after some prodding by Ashley (Eileen Davidson). However, the arrival of the ‘reason’ has changed this multi-player relationship game.

Michelle (Kelly Frye) has no intentions of backing off. She told Ashley that Vickie’s relationship was doomed before agreeing to head back to the Big Apple. So viewers are certainly prepared to see this intriguing character in the near future, likely on, or before ‘Tricky’s’ wedding day. She’s working on her own relationship freedom and wants another shot with Travis. Michelle is driven and won’t be easily flicked off by her ex-boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) is playing a waiting game as well. He knows all about Travis’ connection to Michelle, but doesn’t want to inject himself into Vickie’s life. That’s an unusual position for Billy to be in, yet it does reflect a maturity in his outlook that could prove to be successful.

If Michelle is able to win Travis back, Billy will be there to support Vickie. Of course the former Mrs. Abbott would likely learn that her ex-husband didn’t alert her to Travis’ actions at some point. However, by that time both characters won’t have any romantic connections and should be open to their own emotional rekindling.

A former super couple that has two children will always share a bond. Billy still likes Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), but he loves Victoria. And, if Vickie is true to herself she will eventually admit that Billy remains her soul mate.
