‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 13: Jack Reconsiders Pays Money, Wants to Know Colin’s Secret – Chelsea Blasts Sharon, Nick Worries She Ignores Grief

“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 13, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will argue about what’s best for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). At the penthouse, Nick learns Chelsea is already back at work. He feels like it’s too soon, but Chloe insists that focusing on something other than Adam (Justin Hartley) will be good for Chelsea.

Nick alludes to losing Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and comments on how you can’t ignore grief. Chloe thinks Nick should back off and let Chelsea grieve however she wants to. Nick can’t agree if it means Chelsea goes through more pain.

At Chelsea’s studio, she realizes that Sharon (Sharon Case) pushed back the dates for her new line. Sharon thought Chelsea would want a delay in light of Adam’s death. Chelsea blows her top and sends Sharon home while she cleans up her mess. Chloe shows up and says she told Sharon to push the dates. She feels like she’s to blame for everything.

Chelsea apologizes for her reaction, but she just doesn’t want to dwell on the past. Chloe promises to make phone calls and fix her mistake. Meanwhile, Nick sees Sharon at Crimson Lights. She’s looking through the want-ads. Sharon gives Nick updates on what happened and he hints that Chelsea is struggling right now.

Nick states that he’s going to talk to Chelsea about taking some time away from the studio. He suggests he’ll see what he can do for Sharon. Nick departs and Sharon’s phone rings. She answers, but no one says anything. Sharon dials the phone company, but that gets her nowhere. Chloe arrives and they connect over the loss of a child.

Back at the studio, Nick pleads with Chelsea to take a step back from work. She tells Nick that she’s giving him an out. He doesn’t have to keep the vow he made to Adam. Chelsea orders Nick to go, but she breaks down in tears after he leaves. Stay tuned to “The Young and the Restless” to see when Chelsea will realize she needs help.

At the Chancellor mansion, Jill (Jess Walton) makes Colin (Tristan Rogers) promise not to use the secret she spilled. Colin agrees that he won’t exploit Billy (Jason Thompson) with his affair news. Billy walks in and learns that Jill only had acid reflux. He grumbles about Jill getting what she hoped for. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) broke things off and is now trying to repair her marriage.

Jill finally gets it. She realizes that Billy is indeed in love with Phyllis. Elsewhere, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis talk to a marriage counselor. They discuss how the Marco (Peter Bergman) ordeal has affected their relationship. The counselor suggests that there’s hope, but Jack and Phyllis seem discouraged.

After they leave, Phyllis ends up with Summer at the park. They chat about the session with the marriage counsellor and how Jack is shutting down. Summer reveals that she wants to go back to school. Talk turns to Summer’s failed relationships and she urges Phyllis to keep trying with Jack.

Summer heads off and Billy appears. Phyllis pipes up about the marriage counselor and Billy says he told Jill they’re over. He wishes he could kiss Phyllis, but she tells him to shut up. Back at the Chancellor mansion, Jack grills Jill about Colin’s offer of $1 million in exchange for info on Phyllis. He suspects that Jill knows what the secret is.

Jill warns that Jack shouldn’t fall for Colin’s scam. Once Jack is gone, Jill reminds Colin of his promise. Colin points out that he only said he wouldn’t exploit Billy, but Jill insists Jack is to be left alone. She won’t let Colin blow her plan to reunite Billy and Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

In a suite at the club, Jack asks if Colin was trying to con him out of his money. Colin claims the info wasn’t real. Jack implies that Colin is just saying what Jill wants him to say. He pulls out a bag of cash and is ready to make a deal.

Will Colin protect the secret or will he blab for the money instead? Either way, the truth is coming out this week! Y&R rumors hint that some great drama is coming up. Stick with the CBS soap to see the aftermath of this stunning revelation.
