‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday July 19: Victor Back In Jail, Promises Adam Help – Adam Warns Him About An Enemy – Chelsea Blasts Mom – Summer Plots

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, July 19, tease that Paul (Doug Davidson) will tell Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) it’s time for Victor’s (Eric Braeden) return to the state pen. At the hospital, Nikki seems bummed by the news. She wants to see Victor again before he goes.

Paul suggests that Nikki probably shouldn’t be so trusting of Victor, but she stands up for her husband. In Victor’s room, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is furious that Victor was willing to set up his own son for murder. She moves close with the scalpel and unleashes her wrath.

Victor eventually admits that the plan wasn’t supposed to go this far. He didn’t mean for Adam (Justin Hartley) to end up in prison. Chelsea demands to know who Victor’s accomplice was. Victor mentions that Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) won’t have a parent to raise him if Chelsea uses that scalpel.

Paul comes in and Chelsea leaves without any info. Nikki talks to Paul about Victor’s appeal. She brings up the idea of Chelsea helping, but Paul thinks Nikki needs to forget it. At the penthouse, Chelsea rants to Anita (Catherine Bach). When Anita spots the scalpel in Chelsea’s purse, she warns Chelsea that she should be thinking of herself right now.

Chelsea erupts at Anita and orders her to leave. Once she’s alone, Chelsea takes out her frustration on objects around the room. She angrily shoves stuff off a table as tears start to flow. In prison, Victor chats with Adam. Their meeting immediately gets tense.

Adam says his father has won, but Victor assures him that he only meant to make him sweat. Jail time wasn’t part of the plan. Adam determines that someone must have messed up Victor’s stategy. Victor vows to get out of prison and secure Adam’s freedom as well. Adam points out that Chelsea is fired up. He says Chelsea will exonerate him soon.

Adam adds that Victor has made a dangerous enemy in his wife. Victor thinks Chelsea’s wrath will blow over. At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) suggests that it’s time to get back to reality. She’s moving out, but seems a little disappointed.

Sharon thinks back on discussions about the secret. She recalls Mariah being glad that Sharon trusted her. As Mariah starts to leave, Sharon stops her. Mariah feels like things will be more peaceful for Sharon if she’s out of the picture. Sharon disagrees and convinces Mariah to stick around.

At The Dive Bar, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) gripes at Summer (Hunter King) when she finds her hanging out with Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva). Victoria gives them updates on the walkout over the oil refinery problems. Summer puts the blame back on Victoria. She hints that Victoria is never around to deal with work issues.

Victoria shuts Summer up and tells her to get back to work. Once Victoria is gone, Luca is pleased that Summer stood up for him. Summer arrives in Victoria’s office and admits that she was just putting on a show for Luca’s sake. She knows Luca is shady and wants to team up against him.

Luca walks in and Victoria pretends to fire Summer. A short time later, Summer and Luca end up back at The Dive Bar. They complain about Victoria and Luca suggests that Summer should be running Newman. He could be right by her side to help. Luca thinks Summer can convince Victor that this is what’s best for the company.

Summer plays along, but she gives Luca a cold look when he walks off for a phone call. “The Young and the Restless” viewers will be anxious to see how Summer’s plot works out. Y&R rumors hint that there could be some unanticipated consequences.

Meanwhile, Nikki and Victoria debate whether or not the family will truly forgive Victor. Nikki worries that she’ll be the only one in his corner. Victoria reminds Nikki of why they all testified against Victor. She wonders if he’s trustworthy. Nikki insists that Victor didn’t frame Adam. She just wants Victor home where he belongs.

Will Victor’s actions come back to haunt him? Can Nikki overlook even more lies? Stay tuned to see if Victor will manage to get out of this mess.
