‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday September 1: Chloe Shoots Adam, Wants to Watch Him Die – Nick Drives Chelsea To Cabin, Cabin Explodes As She Gets Out

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, September 1, tease that the CBS soap’s 11,000th episode will finally arrive. Y&R fans can expect some jaw-dropping moments. At the police station, a press conference is held and Dylan (Steve Burton) announces the Amber Alert. He insists they need to find Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois).

At the cabin, Adam (Justin Hartley) is willing to turn himself in so Connor can seek medical attention. Chelsea suggests that she should take Connor by herself. They can always meet up later if she gets caught. Adam kisses Chelsea goodbye and she takes Connor in the car. When she hears the Amber Alert, Chelsea starts to get nervous.

Meanwhile, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) shows up at the cabin and fires a tranquilizer dart at Adam’s stomach. She confesses that she helped Victor (Eric Braeden) with the setup. Chloe states that she’ll never forgive Adam and she wasn’t willing to let him go. A groggy Adam asks what Chloe’s going to do. Chloe replies that she intends on watching Adam die.

At the Newman ranch, Jack (Peter Bergman) gripes about the press conference and the manhunt for Adam’s family. He blames Victor and they argue about parenting. Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Laralee Bell) appear with an offer. They won’t charge Chelsea with anything if Victor leads them to Adam.

Victor doesn’t go for the idea. Jack starts complaining to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), but she snaps that he should worry about his own marriage. After Jack exits, Victor lets Nikki know that everything is going to be OK.

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house, Nick (Joshua Morrow) isn’t pleased by Dylan’s press conference. Sharon feels like Dylan did what he thought was best. Dylan walks in and Nick’s rant begins. He asks who will raise Connor if Chelsea and Adam get caught. Dylan says Victor will. Sharon states that they should just try to get everyone back home safely.

A call comes in for Nick and he answers it. Chelsea is on the other end. She insists that she needs Nick’s help. In a hotel room, Nick expresses his gratitude to the doctor who came for Connor. They’re keeping this hush-hush. Nick agrees to take Chelsea and Connor back to the cabin. Chelsea gives Adam the news in a voicemail.

Dylan is still at home when he gets updates on a sighting of Chelsea’s car. At the athletic club, Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil) debate the situation between Neil (Kristoff St. John) and his mother. Lily feels like Lucinda (Nichelle Nichols) must have some love for Neil. She sent letters and truly wanted to reconnect.

Christine and Paul sit down for a romantic dinner. A sweet woman played by Lee Philip Bell spots them and pays for their meal. She hints that their love reminds her of what she shared with her late husband.
Lucinda urges Neil to come closer in her room at the assisted living facility. She’s happy with how Neil turned out. She talks about all of the things she’s kept up with in her son’s life. Neil doesn’t understand why Lucinda bothered. She never cared enough to be there for him.

Neil starts shouting, but Lucinda encourages him to shut up and listen. She explains that she was an alcoholic and felt like she had to walk away for Neil’s safety. Lucinda says she cleaned up her act, but Neil wouldn’t respond when she tried to get in touch. Neil can relate to her alcoholism. He talks about his own struggles.

Neil breaks down in tears and forgives Lucinda. She regrets the time they lost together, but she doesn’t regret her decision to give Neil up. Lucinda indicates that it was in Neil’s best interest. He’s become a good man. Lucinda wants Neil to stay and chat for a while.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Daniel (Michael Graziadei) will give Kevin (Greg Rikaart) some advice. At the penthouse, Daniel talks to Kevin about Chloe. He can tell that Kevin wants more than friendship. Daniel thinks Kevin needs to be cautious, but Kevin gloats about how close he is to Chloe. He claims he knows her so well.

Bella (Cali May Kinder) starts to cry, so Kevin tends to her. He says he’s letting Chloe sleep. Daniel points out that Chloe is lucky to have Kevin in her life. Back at the cabin, Adam is out cold. A short time later, Nick arrives with Chelsea and Connor.

Chelsea exits the car and rushes toward the porch. Suddenly, there’s an explosion and the cabin bursts into flames! A panicked Nick calls out Chelsea’s name. “The Young and the Restless” rumors hint that even more twists are in store.
