‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Thursday January 28: Noah Wants in on Luca’s Plan – Abby Quits Newman, Joins Jabot – Chelsea Disapproves of Adam’s Secret

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, January 28, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will have a chat with Natalie (Mara McCaffray) about the program. At Top of the Tower, Dylan (Steve Burton) arrives and starts asking questions. He’s trying to figure out the identity of the female investor.

Victor spots Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). They all bicker and Victor insists that the kidnapper will be caught. He adds that Jack needs to steer clear of Adam (Justin Hartley) and this deal. Meanwhile, Natalie denies any knowledge of the female investor and kidnapper. Dylan wonders if Natalie is just scared to talk. He warns that Natalie could go down as well if she doesn’t cooperate.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) comes in and takes Dylan aside. She suspects that Natalie is hiding something. Dylan intends on finding out more. Victoria thinks Natalie is a con artist, but Victor shows up to defend her. After Natalie leaves to work in another room, Victor tells Victoria that she can pass along a message to Billy (Jason Thompson). “Billy Boy” won’t be a part of this deal.

At the police station, Dylan and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) mull over the identity of the female kidnapper. They consider Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Kevin is amused by the thought that she could’ve pulled one over on Victor. Dylan mentions that Billy would’ve been a prime suspect, but he couldn’t have done it due to the accident. Dylan ponders how all of this might be connected to Switzerland.

At the hospital, Jack and Phyllis pay Billy a visit. Jack urges Billy to come back to Jabot once he recovers. Later, Phyllis speaks with Billy alone. She gushes over her scheme, but then realizes Billy is having seconds thoughts. Phyllis insists that Billy should be cheering her on. He should stick with the plan. They discuss how they’re both risk-takers. Natalie arrives and wants to see Billy. Victoria pops in and wonder what’s going on.

At the penthouse, Adam gripes to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) about Sage (Kelly Sullivan) being committed. He says Sage is just trying to grieve; she’s not unstable. Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) arrives and brings up the plan. Chelsea is concerned and questions what they’re talking about. Adam tells Chelsea everything is fine, but she’s worried he’s duping Victor. She leaves in a huff.

Adam shouts that Luca needs to be careful. Luca isn’t worried; this will be a done deal soon. Marisa (Sofia Pernas) provided some good info. Adam is pleased and thinks this will go well. Luca asks if Adam is going to keep his end of the bargain. Adam reminds Luca that he was kidnapped and he wasn’t exactly able to work on it. Adam says he’ll only have one shot, so he needs to make it count. Luca agrees that Adam needs to have something solid.

At Crimson Lights, Noah (Robert Adamson) complains to Marisa about Victor. He’s upset that Victor was going to allow Marisa to be traded. Abby (Melissa Ordway) walks in and sides with Victor. Noah lashes out at Abby and she takes a phone call. Marisa urges Noah to remain calm. She says Victor will get what’s coming to him. Noah suspects that maybe the Santoris are plotting something. Marisa replies that it’s an inside job.

Chelsea shows up and talks to Marisa in private. She wants to know what Adam and Luca are up to. Marisa admits that they’re trying to take down their fathers. Chelsea is outraged by the news. Meanwhile, Abby has a meltdown about her job. Later, Noah meets back up with Marisa. He guesses that Adam and Luca are the threat Marisa was talking about. When Luca appears, Noah tells him that he wants in on the scheme.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Chelsea will return home to unleash her wrath. When Chelsea finds Adam and Victor chatting, she makes sarcastic comments. After Victor exits, Chelsea explains what Marisa told her. Adam suggests that Chelsea needs to chill out. He’s working with Victor to get rid of the Santoris. Adam declares that Chelsea can’t tell Marisa his secret. Chelsea is still frustrated. She implies that Adam is becoming like Victor.

At Top of the Tower, Jack approaches Abby about the possibility of her returning to Jabot. Abby considers the idea and heads to Newman Enterprises. She tells Victor that she’s leaving Newman and going where she’ll be respected. It seems Jack is hoping to rebuild Jabot in a big way. Y&R rumors hint that Jack will have a plan in the works soon.
