‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, December 8: Lauren’s Secret Threatens Anniversary Fun – Jack Makes Phyllis Miserable – Victoria Stuns Nikki

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, December 8, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will be taken aback by Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) news. Victoria was just about to give Victor (Eric Braeden) the scoop on her breakup with Travis (Michael Roark). When Nikki waltzes in with a wedding dress, she’ll have to get updates as well.

Victoria will admit that Travis cheated and she called off the engagement. She’ll feel foolish for letting her guard down and ignoring her instincts. However, Victoria will hope that they can all just move on. She wants to put Travis behind her and focus on living a life that makes her happy.

Elsewhere, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will have romantic plans for Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman). In a suite, Michael will turn over playing cards that reveal a message. Lauren will smile when she sees “Happy Anniversary” printed on them. This loving couple will prepare for an evening of memories and passion.

Unfortunately, Y&R spoilers state that a dark cloud will hang over this celebration. Fenmore’s projected profits are down and Lauren is beginning to worry. She won’t want to concern Michael until she sees how all of this is going to play out. Of course, Michael knows Lauren better than anyone. He’ll immediately sense that she’s keeping something from him.

Lauren will pretend everything is fine, but Michael will press for answers. He won’t want Lauren to suffer alone. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Michael will note that honesty is crucial in a relationship. He’ll contend that they need to be truthful if they intend on having more of these anniversaries.

While Lauren mulls over what to do, Jack (Peter Bergman) will give Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) a hard time. It seems Jack just isn’t ready to forgive Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis for their torrid affair. No one can blame Jack for holding a grudge. It was a devastating blow and it’s been tough for him to recover.

Jack will display his usual bitter attitude during a chat with Phyllis at the athletic club. He’ll recall the night of Lauren and Michael’s wedding, which led to Phyllis leaving with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Jack will point out that history has a way of repeating itself.
