‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday April 14: Summer & Jack Lie Under Oath – Ashley Comes Clean to Her Brothers – Mariah Jealous, As Natalie Catches Kevin’s Eye

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, April 14, tease that Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) will urge Summer (Hunter King) to tell the truth in her deposition. At Crimson Lights, Summer listens to Luca’s advice and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) arrives to give her own guidance. Luca steps away and Phyllis offers some words of warning.

Phyllis doesn’t think Summer should trust Luca, but Summer dismisses her suspicions. Phyllis gripes that Summer is more loyal to Victor (Eric Braeden) than her own mother. Summer snaps back that Phyllis kidnapped Adam (Justin Hartley). What makes her think she’s any better than Victor? Phyllis will argue that the situations were different. Adam didn’t get hurt and the whole ordeal was brought on by Victor’s actions.

Phyllis declares that justice needs to be served and Summer wonders if lying under oath will make that happen. Phyllis replies that it will end the feud. At Billy’s (Jason Thompson) house, he chats with Kevin (Greg Rikaart), Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Natalie (Mara McCaffray) about their depositions. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) shows up and urges them not to become liars like Billy.

Once the younger set leaves, Victoria continues complaining. She eventually pulls out a ticket to Johnny’s play and they chuckle about him playing an acorn. Victoria and Billy agree that they won’t let their battle affect the children.

At the athletic club, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Neil (Kristoff St. John) bicker about Hilary (Mishael Morgan) joining the board. Neil states that Hilary was blackmailing Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Ash walks in and says it’s true. She explains that she was dying. Neil leaves them to discuss everything. Jack doesn’t like that Ashley kept her condition a secret. He’s furious that Hilary tried to use it against her.

Talk turns to Billy and Jack mentions his own deposition. Ashley wonders what Jack plans to do. Phyllis comes in and Ashley rants about how she’s pressuring her husband to lie. Ashley wants to protect both of her brothers.

At the lab, Hilary gives Devon (Bryton James) updates on her board position. Devon is suspicious, but she claims Jack just saw what she brought to the table. Neil pops in and announces that Jack knows all about the blackmail news. Hilary is livid over Neil’s sabotage, but he hints that she did it all on her own. Devon calms Hilary down and they share a kiss.

At Newman Enterprises, more depositions begin. Mariah, Natalie and Kevin all claim that no deal was made with Billy until after Victor fired Natalie.

Summer takes her turn and chooses to lie as well. Jack gives his sworn statement. When he’s done, Victoria rips into him. She thinks that Jack’s about as trustworthy as Victor. Leslie (Angell Conwell) informs Victoria that all of their stories line up. It would be best to drop the case.

At Billy’s house, Ashley shows up and gives him an earful over the drama with Jack. Billy tries to argue, but Ashley says they’re both lucky to be alive. She fills him in on her brain tumor. Billy understands that it was personal. They hug and Ashley urges Billy to make the most of this second chance.

At Crimson Lights, Summer is distraught over her lies. The rest of the gang is tickled pink. Summer heads off to gather her thoughts alone. Mariah is grateful for everything and she makes sure Kevin knows it. Natalie steps out in a little black dress and a stunned Kevin gapes.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Jack won’t be happy about all the lies that have been told. At the club, Jack admits he was dishonest for Summer’s sake. He had to back her up. Jack states that he sold his soul to the devil and Phyllis sold her daughter’s. Phyllis stops by Billy’s house and he sees that she’s upset. They fall into a warm embrace.

Back at Newman, Victoria grills Summer about the story she told Leslie. She asks if Phyllis forced Summer to lie under oath. Summer is fed up with all of the fighting. She pleads with Victoria to just let this lawsuit go. It seems a deal is indeed on the way, but Y&R rumors hint there will still be quite a mess. Stick with the CBS soap to see what’s in store.
