‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday August 15: Nick Gives Phyllis Surprising News – Luca Handles a Crisis – Victoria Reflects on Leaving Newman

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, August 15, tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will express some disappointment in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) actions. During a chat with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria will discuss her recent departure from Newman Enterprises. She’ll admit that it would’ve been nice if Victor had asked her to stay.

Nikki will wonder if it would’ve made a difference. Victoria knew that Victor would want his company back when he got out of prison. Since Victoria isn’t in charge anymore, did she really want to work under Victor? He would obviously prefer to have Adam (Justin Hartley) by his side right now.

Victor will always love Victoria, but she might want to give up on securing his approval in the business world. Besides, Victoria was offered a great gig at Brash and Sassy. She couldn’t pass up the opportunity to save her baby. Victoria will try to make peace with her decision to leave Newman behind.

Meanwhile, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will want updates from Nick (Joshua Morrow). They both hope to prove Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) was behind the oil spill so Summer (Hunter King) will dump him. When Phyllis asks if Nick found anything, he’ll state that he did. However, it wasn’t exactly what Nick was looking for.

It sounds like this storyline could come with some twists. Victor has no intention of letting Summer and Luca’s marriage happen. He’s pulling out all the stops to make sure they never say “I do.” If Luca’s secrets aren’t enough to lead to his downfall, Victor might just have to create a few fake ones. Bottom line, Luca is in trouble.

Elsewhere, Luca will grab Summer’s hands and remind her of his love. Summer will sense that something’s up. She’ll question Luca about what he’s keeping from her. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Luca will try to smooth things over as an obstacle emerges.

Summer tends to be a bit on the naïve side, so she may decide to overlook Luca’s mistakes and trust him anyway. Nevertheless, Y&R rumors hint that Luca and Summer’s relationship may have an expiration date. Stick with the CBS soap to see if bad news is coming up.
