‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Michelle’s Arrival Annoys Travis – Villy Reunion Odds Revisited

Michelle’s (Kelly Frye) arrival in Genoa City creates an obvious problem for Travis (Michael Roark) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Regardless of what one may believe regarding the possibility of a ‘Villy’ reunion, there’s no denying the fact that this new character’s appearance increases the odds that Vickie (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) could reunite.

Billy can still make Vickie laugh, as evidenced by the double-head quarter trick he amused his ex-wife with at the Genoa City Athletic Club this week. She’s never written him completely out of her life. Of course, the two children they share also maintains a love bond that can’t truly be lessened.

Michelle stands as the woman who Travis was unfortunately involved with when he was riding high in the New York financial world. Now that his original brunette beauty has appeared fans will be wondering if Vickie reminded Travis of Michelle and if he still has feelings for her. Frye’s character is single, has purposely traveled to Wisconsin and previously sent Travis a leading note that congratulated him on his hire at Newman Enterprises. So, it’s likely that she hasn’t gotten over him and will be assessing current options.

Vickie opted to invest in an anti-Billy boyfriend when she quickly bonded with Travis earlier this year. He’s an impressive guy and appears to be far more emotionally stable than Mr. Abbott. Whether Mr. Crawford proves to be a long-term fit in Vickie’s life remains an open question. Yes, they have chemistry. But they don’t have a lengthy history, which makes nothing certain moving forward.

Life will surely become very engaging as Travis’ former and current romantic interest interact. Surely Michelle came to Genoa City to look over the woman who may be her competition. Vickie recently watched Billy make a play for Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), of all people. But now that ‘Red’ is refocused on Jack (Peter Bergman), Billy is a free agent. He’ll pounce on any opportunity to reconnect with Vickie if he sees Travis moving in Michelle’s direction. Even if Vickie were to lose Travis, or dump him, that’s still no guarantee that ‘Villy’ would be revived regardless of posted betting odds.
