‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, December 9: Mariah Stunned by Devon’s Request – Lily Gets a Surprise – Paul Wants to Help Distraught Dylan

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, December 9, tease that Lily (Christel Khalil) will be surprised when Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) physiotherapist arrives. Jealousy has been an issue for Cane and Lily in the past. It could come up once again if Lily feels threatened by the lovely lady in front of her.

However, Lily and Cane are likely facing much deeper problems. A painkiller addiction could be the real threat here. Lily doesn’t know that Cane depends on his medications to get by. He isn’t willing to slow down and popping pills helps him manage the throbbing. The more Cane pushes himself, the more he’s going to rely on those painkillers.

Meanwhile, Paul (Doug Davidson) will encourage Dylan (Steve Burton) to open up. The judge’s decision was undoubtedly a crushing blow. Paul will point out that no one expects Dylan to be fine. This is a tough situation and Dylan has every right to be upset. He lost the child he was raising and it left a huge hole in his heart.

Paul will urge his son to accept some help, but Dylan may have other ideas. Y&R fans know that Dylan wants to move on, but it looks like he might have second thoughts about that. Dylan may wonder if he should make a bold move.

Michael (Christian LeBlanc) suggested that Dylan should play dirty, but he didn’t think it was appropriate. Now that Dylan is facing life without Christian, he may consider using another tactic. Of course, Dylan might come to his senses after he receives some advice.

Let’s hope Dylan will do the right thing. This baby battle is finally fizzling and it’s probably time for Dylan to give it a rest. Elsewhere, Sharon (Sharon Case) will have a chat with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). She’ll confess that she’s struggling, but she’ll try to stay positive about the future.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers state that Sharon head in an interesting direction soon. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will face some big changes as well. She’ll be stunned when she hears the latest news about Hilary (Mishael Morgan).

Mariah will ask Devon (Bryton James) if he really fired his own wife. Devon will admit that he needs a new host and he’s hoping Mariah will step up. Unfortunately, Hilary will attempt to sabotage Mariah’s efforts.
