“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, July 20, tease that Summer (Hunter King) will fill Nick (Joshua Morrow) in on her plans to expose Luca’s (Miles Gaston Villanueva) agenda. She’s determined to get to the bottom of all the shadiness. Nick will wonder if Summer is sure she can handle going up against Luca.
Summer will assure Nick that any love she felt for Luca is gone. She’ll declare that Luca isn’t the guy she thought she fell for. Summer will add that Luca is a user and she’s done being used. It seems Summer is truly fed up. She wants to force Luca into a trap and then put him in the rearview mirror.

Luca will insist that he’ll step aside if that’s the only way Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will let Summer back in the company. Of course, Y&R viewers know that Luca really wants Summer to start running the show. He suggested that she should talk to Victor (Eric Braeden) about taking over. Naturally, that would be Luca’s ticket to the top. He’d probably try to take control if Summer ended up in over her head.
Since Summer is playing her beau, Luca will get nothing for his chivalry. He won’t be pleased when he learns he’s been duped. Luca’s interest in Summer was initially about moving up the corporate ladder. However, Luca seems to have actually fallen for Summer. Keep watching to see if that could throw off any plots that are in the works.
Meanwhile, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will open up to Billy (Jason Thompson). She’s been trying to decide what her romantic future should look like. Phyllis loves Jack (Peter Bergman), but she can’t help but long for Billy. Their chemistry is electric. Billy will wonder if Phyllis has finally made her choice.
It turns out Phyllis’ decision may not matter. Jack is about to uncover information that could change everything. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Jack will find out that Phyllis never took the company jet anywhere. She was supposed to go to a Passkey conference, but that was a big lie.
Jack will worry that Phyllis might be having an affair. Little does he know Phyllis has been cheating with his own brother! Y&R rumors hint that we’ll see some nerve-wracking moments for Phyllis. Jack may choose to keep quiet for now, but Phyllis will likely realize that something’s up. Stay tuned for updates on Phyllis and Billy’s big news.
