‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday April 6: Victor Wants Adam To Avenge Him – Devon Furious Over Hilary’s Blackmail – Abby Learns Ashley’s Secret

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, April 6, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will get updates on what Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) been hiding. He’ll discover that Hilary blackmailed Ashley (Eileen Davidson) in an effort to get what she wanted. Naturally, Devon will be outraged. Hilary exploited Ashley’s illness for her own personal gain. Any way you slice it, that’s pretty low.

Hilary will counter that Devon was willing to sabotage his wife. Devon tried to make sure Hilary wasn’t placed on the board of Jack (Peter Bergman) and Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) foundation. Now it sounds like Hilary knows the news. Wednesday’s preview video shows Hilary shouting that Devon can get down off his high horse because he’s no better than her.

Meanwhile, it seems Hilary might lose her leverage. Ashley will decide to come clean about her condition to Abby (Melissa Ordway). “The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Abby will throw a fit. She’ll be hurt and angry when she finds out Ashley kept this from her. As Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) stands beside her, Ashley will try to explain that she’s on the road to recovery.

Abby will maintain that she should’ve been in the loop on this situation. There’s going to be some tension, but it shouldn’t take too long for Ashley and Abby to move past this. Now’s not the time to hold grudges. They have to focus on getting Ashley better and keeping her around for her grandchild. Abby will undoubtedly shift to a more supportive tone soon.

Elsewhere, Victor (Eric Braeden) will summon Adam (Justin Hartley) to tell him about his new plan. When Adam wonders what’s up, Victor will declare that he wants his son to avenge him. Victor is beyond furious with his family. He’s mad at Adam as well, but he probably senses he still has a chance to corrupt him.

If Victor wants vengeance, Adam is his best shot. Since Adam secretly feels drawn to Newman Enterprises, he might be willing to get back in the game at some point. Adam may also play a role in helping Victor get revenge on his attacker. Victor clearly wants the person who stabbed him to pay the price.

Whatever the case, it looks like Adam will go along with the idea. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will rip into Adam later this week and this could be why. Y&R rumors hint that even more trouble is brewing. Stick with the CBS soap to watch what Adam does next.
