“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, April 6, tease that Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will try to move forward. It was difficult to watch her second chance at motherhood slip away, but it’s best to stay busy. At Crimson Lights, Sage tells Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) that her schedule opened up and she’s ready to work.
At the hospital, Sharon (Sharon Case) can’t shake off the terrible feeling she had when Nurse Stevens was holding Sully. Dylan (Steve Burton) thinks it’s all in Sharon’s head. Her nightmares are making her fearful. Sharon hints that she’ll try not to worry about the past.
Meanwhile, Adam (Justin Hartley) is summoned to Victor’s (Eric Braeden) room. Victor feels certain that another attack is coming once he’s back in prison. Adam thinks he should pay someone to protect him, but Victor insists that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) might kill him. He wants Adam to kill Ian if that happens.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) arrives, but Victor isn’t interested in seeing him. He reiterates that Nick is dead to him. Nick points out that they’re all worried about Victor. Vic doesn’t care. He feels he has it under control. Afterwards, Nick wants updates from Adam. He wonders what Victor is up to.
At the athletic club, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tells Paul (Doug Davidson) that Victor needs to be transferred elsewhere. She complains about Victor staying tight-lipped on his attacker. Paul thinks it might be better that way. Snitching can get you in trouble in the big house. Paul says he’ll make sure Victor is watched and Nikki is pleased.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will throw a fit about Devon’s (Bryton James) recent move. At the club, Hilary feels like Devon knocked her out of an opportunity to be on the board of Jack (Peter Bergman) and Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) foundation. Devon won’t agree to fix it. Hilary barks about Devon controlling her.
At the lab, Abby (Melissa Ordway) snaps at Stitch (Sean Carrigan). She immediately says she’s sorry. Abby claims she’s just upset because of the situation with Victor. She wishes she’d been brought in the loop sooner.

Abby takes a phone call from a radiologist and it tips her off that something is going on with Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Ashley confesses that she was diagnosed with a brain tumor right after the surgery for the aneurysm. Abby flips out and rants about Ashley keeping this a secret for a year. Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) explains how he’s been helping Ashley.
When Devon and Hilary walk in, Ashley says that Hilary knew the truth. Devon realizes Hilary blackmailed her way into Ashley’s job and he’s not happy. Abby is furious, too. Hilary suggests they shouldn’t be objecting to her strategy. She announces that she fast-tracked the FDA approval. Devon leads Hilary out to talk privately.
Hilary defends her actions, but Devon thinks what she did was inexcusable. He says this is why he didn’t want Hilary on the board. She’s becoming obsessed with power. Hilary feels like she has to take action for herself because her husband won’t do anything. She implies that she can push Devon out as well, but he claims he won’t let that happen. Devon just wants to save Hilary from herself.
Back with Abby and Ashley, they have a heartfelt chat about Ashley’s circumstances. Abby can’t believe she could’ve lost her mom. It’s especially tough to hear right after the news about Victor. Abby asks if Ashley tried to push her with Stitch because of her illness. She worries they only ended up together because Ashley thought she was dying.
Ashley insists that Stitch and Abby love each other. She lets Abby know that everything is going to be fine and they share a hug. Meanwhile, Sage opens up to Chelsea and Sharon at the penthouse. She says the adoption fell through and Chelsea wonders if Sage should be around Sully right now. Sage feels like it’s comforting to have Sully nearby. She gets teary as she takes the baby in her arms.
At the hospital, Stitch tells Dr. Neville that he would’ve done anything for Ashley if he’d known she was sick. Dr. Neville hints that Stitch could’ve lost Abby. Stitch doesn’t agree. Dr. Neville wonders if there’s some lingering love between Ashley and Stitch.
Stitch finally understands. He suggests that Dr. Neville has feelings for Ashley. Y&R rumors hint that things could heat up for Dr. Neville and Ashley soon. Stick with the CBS soap to see where this romance is headed.

Ridiculous that Victor wants Adam to kill Ian. Victor has no regard for his son Adam and how doing something like this would affect Adam and his family. RIDICULOUS WRITING!!
